And Then News Fun….

By way of a change, did you catch the ‘news’ the other day that ‘reported’, during an item on the rise of robberies from chemists, that a pharmacy had just been broken into and hundreds of Viagra tablets had been stolen. The police are reportedly looking for a gang of hardened criminals... So nice to smile a while in the midst of all the doom and gloom and global boiling.

    Anyhoo, let’s give that no never mind and return to innocence;

And Then, Wave A Flag….

Whilst flicking through the various ‘news’ channels on the televisual receiving device these past phew daze, something went ‘ding’ in my head.
There’s a couple spots of bother just now and the TV is full of crying mums and kids and also various local protest demonstrations. These show many hundreds - nay, thousands - marching in protest against one side or the other. Thus wot went ‘ding’ in my old swede was the huge number of folk waving flags of varying size and nationality.
Now the flags may be Ukranky or Paly or Iszy flags, dependent on the protest, but where the hell did all those flags come from at such short notice? Are these just professional protesters with an attic full of flags and it’s just a matter of nipping up there to select the right flag for the right protest for the next day out?
And how much do they flags cost and who makes ‘em? I must say that in all the years of shopping I’ve partaken in, in towns, in malls or in out of town shopping centres, I’ve never seen a flags of all nations retailer.
Off topic, remember I found that with an extra bit o’ code a link to an item on YouTube would open full screen? Yesterday, I discovered by accident, something y’all are probably already aware of. An embederated Tube of You clip will go to full screen by the simple expedient of double tapping the embederation. Who knew eh? For me, it works in both Foxyfire and Billy on the Edge. Try it; double tap on wot’s below. Double tap again to come back here.

Addendumadodad; Seems the only fellow to fall foul of law enforcement{?} at any demo. was carted off for holding his own flag; a Union Jack. Repeat above music...

Quote; George Galloway.

And Then That’s Another...

As I reload my time accelerator weekly pill poppin’ pods, once again I wonder where that week went. Same old ‘news’ featuring stabbings, shootings, bombings, crashes, global boiling floods and floods of new folk being booked into our hotels. Life{?} goes on then.
And the icing on the MSM misery cake? Why that would be a tree wot’s been chopped down that seems to have driven a lot of folk nuts as it’s, apparently, iconic. Hope they get it down to Drax to give a nearby home some lekky for a little while... Was it chopped down as some sort of protest? A protest against wot one wonders. Will this see a surge in chain saw a crime on the streets you think? That’d make gang fights a tad messy would it not.
So no change out there as we continue to swirl ever closer to the plug hole. It’s a blue do is it not?
    Yup, everything’s Evaporating;
Direct light,
Nothing we can see by,
In turn we live by touch,
Blind as our first moments,
All white and flame,
Become the darkness - see too much.

And Then, Summed Up In One...

First up a couple of things of passing interest in the MSM this AM. It seems our leader is considering making tobacco unavailable to the next generation. One has to wonder, with all that’s coming down the line, how long it’ll be before smiling in public will become a punishable offence.
I also see our blessed BBC are, today, full of the medical ‘discovery’ that long co-co can cause serious brain, lung and liver problems. Thus the increasing number of adverse reactions to the experimental co-co chemi cocktail are conveniently explained away from the jabby jobby. No need to look further, okay?
Now to that paragraph, but first for who or wot might be looking over my shoulder in these enlightened times may I confirm I’m an avid believer in that climate change thingy. Hell, it was warm yesterday and today it’s cool and showery. Wot more proof do I need eh? So here it is; shamelessly copied from this piece on
Going Postal. It’s a beauty:
“Net Zero was always mental and is based upon the science of mass psychosis in a bubble of superstitious medieval media and political villagers in an insignificant dot on the map called Islington. Such true idiots believe thinking the wrong thing about gas central heating boilers in terraced houses in Burnley starts a fire in a field in Hawaii.”
So there you have it all neatly encapsulated in a shell wot used to be the receptacle for a nut.

Quote; Tucker Carlson.

“You often hear people say the news is full of lies. But most of the time that’s not exactly right. Much of what you see on television or read in The New York Times is in fact true in the literal sense, But that doesn’t make it true. It’s not true. At the most basic level, the news you consume is a lie. A lie of the stealthiest and most insidious kind. Facts have been withheld on purpose along with proportion and perspective. You are being manipulated.”

And Then A Squirrel...

I see the media ‘news’ channels are hyperventilating regards some fellow wot’s escaped from prison. Not sure why he, amongst all those wot manage to escape, has become a media star. Or is it more likely he’s just a star squirrel? One has to wonder wot’s really going on out there that must be hidden. And why the mad panic to recapture this one fellow when who knows how many of a similar mind-set are floating here across the channel daily under the guise as gimmigrants?
It’s also interesting to note that that young lady wot checks ‘facts’, disinformation and explores and denounces conspiracy theories for the BBC, blessed be its name, may have told fibs on her job application CV. Shame they didn’t fact check the fact checker, eh? Oh, dear, how sad, how predictable.
Anyhoo, I’m happy to report myself and my little nest of vipers are, so far, surviving this period of alarming, record breaking warm weather; according to the media scarily coloured weather charts that is.
   Regards, that climate change thingy and the imminent end of the world, I would humbly suggest, me being of an age and looking about at the mess everything’s in, that the world as I knew it is very rapidly coming to an end with no help needed from the weather. It’s not the end of the world, just the end of the world as we know it;

Oh, I also see the offshore wind fiasco continues. And how about that stuff passing through the hands of those wot would rule over us, did I hear right? Risk being sent to prison if you refuse to install one of they mega expensive, unreliable heat pumps? Never mind; if you get locked up just follow the media ‘instructions’ as listed per the fellow in the first paragraph. Just need to fine tune your truck hanging technique... I’ll have to listen to that later.

And Then The It Starts...

Just popped in to leave a link wot I know will be of great interest to y’all.
Population replacement’s just a foil clad nutters conspiracy theory, right? However, earlier this AM, now gone, a pidgin link appeared on the Google UK News site wot links to wot you’ll find under my link below. You see where we’re heading yet? Slowly, slowly, softly, softly.
For di first time for world, scientist say dem find 8cm worm alive dey chill inside di brain of one Australian woman.
Thank-you BBC; Hay, remind me again, wot does the first ‘B’ stand for? Oh, and Giggle of course.

And Then, A Can...

You may have missed it, but it seems some rich fellows are having a bit of a do in a very expensive tin can. As sad as that may be, it’s five folk on a paid for adventure and with the wall to wall, twenty-four seven coverage, you’ve got to wonder wot’s going on out there wot’s being buried by this sad can squirrel have you not?
Regards the above, did you catch the early reporting by some ten year old journalistic gem who stated that those in the can should start to limit their breathing? Yea, right; panic rising but just breath easy and only when you really, really need to okay?
In other ‘news’? Why the cost of living circus – sorry, crises of course and that’s really got the medias panties bunched up. I don’t remember this hyper ventilating in the past when interest rates were wot, fourteen percent was it?
Anyhoo, rising interest rates making mortgages and rents way more expensive for folk and small businesses will, apparently, bring inflation down. Maths never was my strong point but I’ll need time to work that one through...
Got it! Seems folk will have less disposable kelly so will spend less. I guess those up there have figured out that folk buying less stuff will result in less folk needed to make stuff thus more folk on bennies, right?
Wot’s the betting savers won’t see the full interest rise like those wot owe money will.
Let’s give all that no never mind and send a phew more trucks of money to that Ukranky washing and rinsing machine.
   Oh, happy Windrush y’all. Damn! Can’t resist it. Go on, laugh out loud;

And Then, Just Fun...

I see various folk and the media are having another problem with the use of English as far as I can make out regards the bit o’ bother the other day.
And the bit o’ bother would be the nutter, apparently, with a knife throwing twelve gauge cartridges into the grounds of Buckingham Palace. All quickly reported as not terror related.
Please excuse me if I beg to differ.
The couple living there are well into their seventies but let’s imagine this had happened in some old dears home out here; she looks up from her TV and sees a bloke with a knife start to throw twelve gauge cartridges into he garden. You think that would terrify her and strike terror into her heart? See where I’m going? The fine line between Terrorist and Terror. Thus in a subtle bending of meaning; after an investigation it was found it wasn’t a terrorist attack but just a nutter with a knife, some cartridges but no gun so just ‘armless’ fun.
Really, someone threatening others is, to varying degrees, wanting to infliction terror into their target so by definition must be a terrorist, right? Bloody English eh?
In other ‘news’ I saw some young thing reporting on a fire some place, with the comment that smoke was seen going up into the air. Who knew smoke went up eh? Oh, and it wasn’t terror related. Unless you were stuck in whatever it was wot was burning that is...

And Then A Quick One...

Just a quick post as I don’t want to miss my place in the queue outside the bookshop as I wait, with un-baited breath, for that royal fellows book to go on sale. That would be the book that’s cleverly and subtly put in its place over at Head Rambles...
From wot I’ve seen of reviews and snips of interviews it would seem care in the community isn’t working out all that well and the clincher for me is his revelation{?} regards the number of our newest bestest ever friends he’s supposedly dispatched in a country far away.
Wot could possibly go wrong? Has he just made himself, his family and friends targets for every nut job prowling around out there dressed in exploding underwear?  He’s going to need volume two  and three to cover security costs...
Only one thing springs to my mind with that statement and thus I repeat, yet again, this one below. Worth bookmarking as it seems something new crops up in the ‘news’ every day that this number could be related to.

Note: I note the above has had twenty-three million views. So I’m not alone in my thoughts then...

And Then On And On...

...it goes. Are the ‘news’ media really going to replay all ninety six years of the old girls life? Could be, as they’re wringing every last second out of current proceedings right now are they not?
The main takeaway for me is the seeming requirement for everyone in a crowd that’s gathered to watch a box go by or just waiting for something, is to be holding a smart-telling-bone high above their heads. They’re filming wot will be shaky, fuzzy footage for wot then?
Other than that, back to TV and we’re all familiar with the countless adverts for funeral insurance plans to ease the cost for those left behind, right? All I can think, as I watch this show unfold day after night after day, is that the old girl must’ve had an absolute doozey of a funeral insurance plan. Sorry? Wot’s that you say? It’s us wot pay? Oh. Seems like the right thing as the family isn’t wot you’d call well off...
Sleep peacefully Madam, they’ll leave you alone one day.

And Then A New Choice...

As the TV ‘news’ cycle fearfest continues, I spotted yet another scary item this morning.
Seems the number of folk getting evicted from their homes for non payment of council rent or privet rent or for other reasons, is sky rocketing. Very sad but the kicker, for me, was the mention of the number of folk who could even be facing prison for reasons. Thinking it through, could our ‘news’ cycles be unintentionally - or intentionally? - suggesting a new life choice?
Think about that; living on government benefits has become a life choice for many over the years, right? But now it seems bennies aren’t enough to cover everyday expenses so wot to do? Homeless with winter approaching?  You know wot? Go ahead and lock me up. No  rent, rates, gas, lecky or water bills to pay, no laundry to fret about, just a roof, three hots, a cot and no need to even get a TV license.  Also included is the chance to learn new life skills; pocket picking, scamming, the list goes on.
Comfy? Close to release day? Punch a warden in the puss to extend your stay. We will see. Man, the stuff my head makes up...
Anyhoo, finally, for all TV lovers out there and following on from the last post, here’s an old tune that still works except for the vast increase in the number of channels out there with nothin’  on.

Quote;  Joyce Rachelle.

“Don't be afraid to make mistakes. But if you do, make new ones. Life is too short to make the wrong choice twice.”

And Then It’s Creeping...

I’m sure I’m not alone in seeing an old favourite making a comeback and slowly, very slowly creeping into and up the news cycles. And that would be? Why, co-co of course.
With the ‘alarming’ rise in ‘confirmed’ cases being reported it would seem the experimental chemi cocktail needs further tweaking before this next co-co outbreak reaches panic mode and we’re all summoned for another round of modified punctures. If this comes to pass, I’m guessing uptake will be dramatically down on the first merry puncture go round.
However, on the plus side, I seem to remember seeing that ‘they’ve’ got the go ahead to shoot the juju into babies in the US. Speechless I be.
It’d be hard to beat this for further mind-bending news but this almost makes it. And that would be the ‘news’ that our tussle haired leader has been back to Ukrankie to offer further funding  - where does all this money come from? Oh, us - and training so they can continue killing each other over there. Our funds that’d go a goodly way towards helping folk over here. You know, the folk wot he was elected to protect and serve. That fighting also isn’t very net zero friendly is it? or does ‘their’ net zero actually relate to working towards zero people?
Interestingly, at almost the same time, one of our top military bods has stated we need to start preparing our own troops for World War Three.
I’m also a tad lost on wot training is needed for a nuclear meltdown. Stand to attention and face your flag as you fry?
Time for this oldie again you think?

And Then, Enough…

I’m guessing that, like me, you’ve had all the hysterical ‘news’ regards bullying in high places that you can reasonably be expected to take.
Remember bullying at school? It usually centred round school lunch break and the bully demanding your pudding or he’d punch you in the puss. If a teacher got wind of this behaviour, they’d take the bullied kid to one side and tell ‘em to man-up and fight back. End of.
Now? Up there? Form a committee to conduct a three year ‘investigation’. No idea who’ll be paying for this…
One also wonders at the form this bullying took and I’m willing to bet, given ladies have won equality in the work place, it goes something like this:
Some male boss enquiring of a lady if that job he asked her to get done three weeks ago had been completed and if not, why not. The lady had then replied that she felt she couldn’t do said job because of reasons to which the boss had responded by telling the lady to just get it done as instructed or he’d find someone that would get the job done.
And that, in our new weird world, would be classed as  inappropriate and unpardonable bullying in the workplace I guess.

Quote;  Fred Allen.

“A committee is a group of people who individually can do nothing, but who, as a group, can meet and decide that nothing can be done.”

And Then, A Break…

...From computing as I’ve just about got everything looking and acting as I’d like it rather than how Bully Billy wanted me to like it. As a by-the-by, if your interest in computing goes a tad further than unsociable media and shopping with Amazon, checkout the comments by the good Ripper to the last post. Good software recommendations there and a bit o’ history.
Well, so, wot now? Watch the news? Seems co-co is over which leads one to believe it was never actually a thing at all. If it was part of a plan, with Bad Lad Vlad being phase two, wot will phase three bring upon us? Something to do with personal money I sadly suspect. Luckily, it’s not often I’m right so here’s hoping I’m wrong again.
After brief headlines regards a nuclear thingy on the point of meltdown, the MSM seem to be struggling with scary war propaganda do the not? It’s all refugees and isn’t it spooky how they always manage to find a young lady with suitably robust lips, clutching a crying child to ‘interview’? See? It’s all me, me, me and social media again. Some war eh? And why not the scary co-co type numbers running along the bottom of the screen. You know the type; number of people who died within 24 hours of a positive shelling. Stuff like that.
Anyhoo, a song wot I featured not too long ago but, after taking in the TV ‘news’, is worth a second airing. It needs linking anyway, as it’s languishing in the view ratings having only managed to muster a meagre five hundred and ninety six some million views...
A word of caution; click play, let it play and you may find yourself wide awake at three AM of the clock in the morning with your brain softly singing ‘Blah, blah, blah’ as indeed did I.

If you didn’t like that so much, here’s a number for older readers. This one also needs your viewing boost as it’s struggling on just one billion seven hundred ninety six million three hundred forty four thousand three hundred thirty eight views…** Good to see us old uns beating they young uns eh?

**I had to ask Giggle how to type that number by the way.

And Then A Listen...

With the ‘news’ showing new record breaking cases of Oh-My-Con, thus confirming this is some sort of competition in their minds, I ran into a couple of links below that may interest y’all and may well be old news to you but worth a check.
Regards the scary ‘news’ and the mantra of died ‘with’ when we’d be better informed knowing deaths ‘from’. Isn’t it time other ‘with’ maladies were were mentioned as well? Such as, oh, I don’t know, died ‘with’ co-co, an ingrowing toenail and dandruff? Same difference and just as important for us to know, right?
Anyhoo, linky time. Firstly, worth a listen Don’t let the trendy intro fool you. Followed by a read:
UK Government admit that the vaccines have damaged the natural immune systems of the double jabbed.
Regards the read, there are a couple of links wot I tried but found them to be a tad over my head as they are littered with really, like, big words. Not to mention punctuation, capitalization and wiggly lines. Please don’t give that no never mind and check the links out, then it’s make your own mind up time.

And Then Just A Link...

I located the link via a commenter at Going Postal, came here to glue it in as, although it’s a bit old now, it’s well worth a read, realised I didn’t note the commenter to thank, went back to Going Postal but, sadly{?}, so many new comments I couldn’t find the commenter to thank. Never mind, thank you.  Any new news regards this? I haven’t seen any mention on the BBC at this time...
In other ‘news’ I see the TV news rounds are in a tad of a tizzy regards weather to focus their screeching on a governmental byelection defeat or  - and I quote – a tidal wave of Oh–My-Con on the immediate horizon and record breaking, again, numbers of cases.

And Then, Now You Know...

Well, this is ‘interesting’. Money? So that’s how to control the ‘news’ then. Who knew, eh? Seems to work like a charm, right?

Quote:  Steven Magee.

And Then, I’ll Leave It To The TV...

Sorry for the absence, but now and then proper life, or wot passes for proper these days, gets in the way of just sitting and aimlessly tap-tap tapping on a tap top.
Now I’m here for a few minutes, wot to say? It seems the brutal dispatching of an MP was quite quickly dropped from the ‘news’ cycles as I assume it was getting a tad to iffy to talk about in any meaningful detail. Let’s settle for the ‘fact’ it was fermented by the use of online hate along with cries to curb anonymous usage. Censorship of the Wibbly Wobbly Web inches yet closer. Meanwhile that elephant in the country remains free to rampage unchallenged.
So wot to fill the ‘news’ with? Let’s go full co-co again. Let’s start with Savage Jabathon  and then wheel out many long haired, unshaven doctors and directors of this that and the other all screaming for Plan B and the ‘fact’ that one and all, never mind the age, really must go and get the magic chemi cocktail of either shot one, shot two or the first of wot I’m sure will be many boosters. NOW. Seems there are quite a lot of  ‘uncaring’ folk out here wot haven’t even had shot one. However, it would also seem that many doubly punctured are taking-up valuable bed space in dock. But let’s give that no never mind, eh?
Climate? Enough already with the nutty ideas. And a thought: All those TV adverts for home security kits; do they run off mains electrickery? With spiralling power costs, how long before it becomes a choice between eat, heat or protect? Let’s not forget all those security cameras... The bad boys must be rubbing their hands in anticipation. Sorry, and girls.

And Then, Some Help...

Following on from the horrific news yesterday and as details of the perpetrator emerge, it’s as sad as the event to see our beloved media eating themselves as they do all they can to avoid reporting the actual factual details of the naughty perpetrator of the terrible deed.
As always, I’m here to offer wot little help I can so here’s something for them to consider wot also has a ring of truth looking at TV advertisement casting these days.
He was well know and liked in the community and understood to be keen on an acting career but was recently suffering severe mental anguish and depression after learning he hadn’t made it to the final phase of auditioning for a leading part for a new well known British household brand, prime-time TV advertising campaign.
Priti Pointless has stated that this tragic event should, in no way, slow the flow of other promising young advertising actors and actresses getting into the country.

And Then A Count...

With the TV ramping-up the terror of climate change with every passing hour, I spotted a bit about the need for volunteers to count walrus as I was told that some folk believe numbers are on the decline and this, they say, could foretell of the end times.
As I’m terribly worried about mans continuing destruction of our planet, I joined in with the counting. Hay, anything to help, right?
My findings are quite alarming and the decline in walrus numbers is obviously much worse than even the ‘experts’ believe. For the whole of today I’ve carefully observed my garden and spotted nary one walrus. Shocked beyond words be I.
Seriously, you see the TV? Talking to kids – looked to be between five and ten years old – and broadcasting the fear they feel for the future to other kids. Wot are these kids going to be good for, as they grow ever older, if they’re being scared to death at such an early age? Probably only good for gluing themselves to motorways. Weaponizing kids? How low can ‘they’ go.
In the very next breath, the BBC was emoting about the rise in climate anxiety amongst kids and wondering who could be to blame for this. Ah shacks ma heed.
The other stunning ‘news’ revolved around how over worked, stressed, depressed and exhausted our NHS, blessed be its name, doctors are. Not one of those highly paid seekers of truth TV news hounds seemed capable of making the correlation between importing a cities worth of our newest bestest ever friends every year and the resulting increasing work load on our services.
News bulletins, as us of an age remember them, no longer exist do they? No apology for repeating this clip:

Bringing up the bottom, another of they Twatter thingies. I’m presently glued to our own ‘news’ channels waiting for them to mention this and possibly UK figures as well, hell, they must be available... I suspect I’m in for a jolly long wait.
