And Then, Another Old One…

Still here but I’ve noticed that as I look at the state of this land and the World in general, that the door at the end of the road of life marked ‘Exit’ is now marked ‘Welcome’.
Anyhoo,as we’ve had a spell of warm weather it seems we’re running low on water. Could this be the result of many, many millions of our recently welcomed bestest ever friends now abiding on this little rock and all wanting a drink, a wash or shower and, hopefully, flushing the toilet? Or are we not allowed to mention this
Well, so, here’s an old post for our new un-elected prime monster, the new mucker upper, translate that as you wish, to consider:
Go off to work one day and leave your front door open and a large ‘Welcome’ sign hanging on your front gate. I’m betting you get a shock upon returning home. Whoa! I opened the door and they came!
After a couple of days of your ‘open door’ policy, you’ll be ‘surprised’ to find that using the kitchen and bathroom with the regularity and freedom you once enjoyed will have gone for some strange reason.
Soon thereafter you may well find yourself having to queue to use your own computer and having to be content with sitting on the floor in your lounge and even having to sleep on the floor in the hall. Eventually, sitting will become a problem and you may well just have enough room to stand at the back. Sadly, the standing room that enables leaning against a wall is all being used; it’s now only stand-up straight space.
In no time at all, you’ll no longer be able to get your car on the drive as it seems to be in continuous use as a hand car wash station. On the plus side, finding you have to park quite some distance away, the walk enables you to calm down a tad before entering what was once your castle but is now a multi-culti utopia.
Your garden? Just a jungle as the last time you tried to do a bit out there, tiptoeing through all kinds of unsavoury looking stuff and strange charcoal cooking thingies, you lost your place in the proper toilet queue and wet yourself.
Eventually, after becoming a tad disconcerted with the rapid ever upwards trajectory of your electricity, gas and water bills and the dangerous load on some sockets threatening to blow you off the grid, you may well decide you’ve had enough and need to get everyone out and lock the door. However, when you finally come to take that action you’ll be shocked to find it’s too late as that’s when you’ll discover you’ve lost all governance of your own home and you are now in the minority with no rights.
And thus ends my miniature picture of our little bit o’ rock sitting in an angry sea.

And Then Up…

Well, so, it’s been on the ‘news’ today that income tax could go up a tad. With the oft reported current cost of living crisis, every little hurts.
Don’t those up there ever think things through? Tax up so folk will be unable to buy stuff resulting in many shops wot sell stuff not ordering new stuff to sell and possibly shutting down. Obviously, the makers of stuff will see they’re no longer selling stuff to retailers so will cut back, or stop making stuff altogether, and also possibly shutting down.
All this will result in ever more folk unemployed and thus ever more folk that can’t afford to buy stuff.
So round and round and down and down we go we go, eh?
The other item making headlines is the weather round the Caribbean with winds of 185 miles per hour. I wonder if the phrase they’re dropping for the sake of drama is, ‘...strong winds with
gusts of up to 185 MPH’

And Then It's An App…

Seems I was wrong in my presumption that the ‘proposed’ I.D. Thingy would require quite a bit o’ plastic. It was an easy mistake to make as on the day of the announcement the MSM used the phrase along with the digital I.D. Wording. However I’m still a tad confused.
Well, so, let’s assume your I.D. Will be on a smart{?} phone. Anybody up there mentioned to the Stammer army how many smart{?} phones are stolen, lost or dropped and broken daily? Thought not.
It seems that, first off, you’ll need this I.D. On your phone to get work. Will workers then need their phone to scan to clock on and off work? And you’ve just had it stolen? Use your passport or driving license? Sorry they are no longer proof of I.D. Quick, get a new phone, load the app from somewhere and again go through activating it using those documents again, passport an’ such wot are no longer considered proof of I.D. We been conned you think? Hello up there? Anybody home?
I suppose most young folk will be happy with this and are looking forward with excitement to the prospect of playing with yet another free{?} app on their phones.
   I’m guessing you’ve been
here, done that?

22 Sept 2025

And Then Another step…

Did you see that Stear Karmer may announce his plans to bring digital I.D. A step closer at the imminent labour get together?
A phew things crept into ma old heed.
Firstly, I guess hacking, despite recent airport and retail hacks, are becoming a thing of the past as there’ll be an awful lot of identifications there for naughty people to pinch for fraudulent purposes, eh?** Also, I do hope he’s had a meeting with his best buddy Eddy regards where the load of lekky will come from to power wot will be a bloody big bit o’ computer and server kit for data so sensitive? Will he be able to hire programmers, on minimum wage, older than sixteen to put it all together faultlessly? And I thought plastic was a no-no here now so where are the enviro-mentalists jumping up and down in alarm at the idea of making and using who knows how many square miles of plastic card?
Given all these local ‘problems’ is he thinking of farming the whole thing out to some other country wot still has lekky and is happy with plastic? Somewhere like Chine perhaps?
All in all, wot could possibly go right, eh?
**Let’s include those that would rule over us in that sentence being able to sneak into our private lives.
Addendumadodad: I see Nigel Mirage has announced that, if elected, he’ll cancel all indefinite leave to remain visas. Well thought through Mirage, I’m guessing that’ll be another phew million votes from folk who's wife or husband is here on indefinite visas you’ve just lost.

And Then I Caught A Bit…

   ...of Angy Ray-gun’s speech to the Lie-boor Party conference upon turning on the televisual receiving appliance and wot’s below instantly popped into my little brain;

Further to the ongoing brouhaha regards those wot would rule over us and the amount of ‘gifts’ and free stuff they’ve been accepting despite their personal worth and hefty wages and I’m reminded of a post I did a little bit after a while ago regards wages for those up there.
Let’s pay Members Of Parliament the basic wage wot’s earned by us down here. Do this and only those that seriously wish for changes to improve the lot of the population would consider running for election and once elected would work tirelessly to improve every ones lot in life would they not?

And Then Worth A Look…

Received a linky thingy via E-mail last evening and thought I’d share wot was on the end of it.
Some indication of the view on TTK Starmageddon by us down here.
Help boost the viewing figures as it seems it’s only had a measly two hundred and fifty nine thousand views since it was put up a while ago; and a while ago would be, like, yesterday...
Link to be sent to all serving Members of Parliament perchance?

And Then Wot A Shock…

I see the new chancer of the chequebook has discovered{?} a black hole in the countries piggy bank of many billions thus it’ll be impossible to implement many/all of the promises they made during their campaigning promise-fest. It also looks like taxes will requiring hiking as well. I’m sure, like me, you could see all this coming to pass a goodly while ago, eh?
And another thing. When ever one of those wot would rule over us in interviewed by one of our journalistic seekers of truth regards any of their election ‘promises’, after the obligatory “Well,” they inform us they’ve either setup a committee to look into how to do it or requested help from other sources - which means paying a couple of buddies super salaries to sort something out, right?
Those interviewers never, ever ask why, after fourteen years in opposition, in possession of all the relevant facts and information, didn’t they have everything they’d like to do and talked about ready to go on day one
Regards nut zero and some Milly fellow and that let ‘em all in policy, please allow me to repeat myself:
Oh to live on an island with easily protected borders. And Then An Old One…

And that would be this political game presently in play but would indeed include me.
Have you noticed, on the rare occasion you click on the remote and find you’re watching a political broadcast, that it’s almost like watching a movie you’ve seen over the years at least ten times before.
Tax? Starmageddon has categorically ruled out tax rises for us down here. Really? Anyone who’s seen this old movie and, assuming they win, will know that on day two he’ll be all over the media saying how shocked and saddened he was to see the actual state of the countries accounts and, so very sadly, will have to substantially increase all known taxes and even invent several new taxes. It’s an old movie so it’s a given is it not?
Anyhoo, rewind a tad further and you’ll see they’ll tax the rich and some big outfits more so more rich folk will be heading out along with any outfit wot finds itself being whacked in the wallet. Oh dear, never mind, tax them down there a tad more to cover the loss, okay?
In other ‘news’ I see our present glorious leader, the one talking about the difficult financial conditions we’re in - that would be us down here - has magically scraped together another two hundred and fifty-two pounds is it? to give to that nice, honest chap in Ukranky so’s he can kill more folk. As said before, so much better than giving it to the NHS, blessed be its name, to save lives eh?
And while I'm here, I'm sure you'll join me in wishing Grandad over at Head Rambles the best of wishes.

5 Jun 2024

And Then, No…

Still hear - just - and no, I didn’t watch the leaders{?} debate on the televisual receiving device last night. I had drying paint to keep an eye on and also a work of fiction I’m reading wot I’m sure was more informative than watching two fellows spouting fiction.
Let’s give that no never mind; all us down here can do is our best to keep hauling is it not?

23 May 2024

And Then A Sigh…

...of relief from the MSM as a general selection for who will front the Uni Party is announced thus securing something for them to fill broadcast time with as opposed to multiple endless repeats.
So far those up there are acting true to form and promising, upon being selected to front the control of us down here, to be harder, better, faster, stronger on all things and - unmentioned - any and all unintended adverse consequences to effect only us down here.
   Whoa, you know wot? harder, better, faster, stronger. I bet that’ll ring a daft bell for those of an age;

That was for them up there this next track is for wot they think of us down here wot they’re talking{?} to...

And Then I Pinch…

While wandering through the comments over at Going Postal, I ran into one I couldn’t resist pinching via that copy thingy. May I humbly apologise to the original author and also thank them for the words. I’ve made a couple of very small edits just in case the original were perceived as naughty talk and got me locked up. Got to be so damn careful these daze eh?

 Dear Young People.
I gather that some of you are feeling a bit pissy because you can't afford your dream home out of your wages. You are being told that it's all the fault of the Baby Boomer Generation somehow. Let me clear that up for you.
When you get your pay-slip have a look at the deductions. You'll see something called income tax. And another deduction called National Insurance. It's a hefty chunk of money. These are just the beginning. The money that THE GOVERNMENT takes away from you before you even SEE your wages.
If you're in charge of bills you'll see Council tax, and energy bills with VAT and green-scam subsidy taxes. VAT is something you'll pay on most of the things you buy. It was originally to blag revenue for the European Union with Brussels setting the minimum level of theft and the British government tacking on a bit more just to rake it in.
You will also pay taxes, levies and green subsidy costs on petrol and diesel fuel. You'll pay tobacco duty. Alcohol duty. And many, many other taxes. You get taxed on what you earn, taxed on what you spend, taxed on what you save and when the time comes you will get taxed on what your parents try to leave to you.
Your biggest expense is government. Local, national and do not for a moment believe that you're not still paying the European Union in countless little sneaky ways.
And on what is all your hard-earned, easy-go money spent?
Foreign aid to countries that hate us. This is partly boomerang money. A lot of it comes back to the people who send it out either through administration costs, charities or dodgy contracts. None of it comes back to YOU.
QUANGOS. There are thousands of these. They exist for two main purposes. Firstly as 'employment' opportunities for the pointless parasitic bureaucrats who run them. Also for their children who need to be inducted into the family business of mooching off of the taxpayer. Also for politicians who have been voted out of office but need rewarding for the service they provided to the establishment. And secondly, QUANGOS provide convenient support for whatever bogus narrative the government is trying to push.
Charities. No such thing. They receive donations from the government and the money is spent on big salaries for board members. Any actual work done by the charity is done by volunteers for free.
Civil Service. An immense bureaucracy dedicated to the pay, perks, promotions and pensions of the bureaucrats. And it just keeps getting bigger and greedier.
The NHS. Another bureaucracy. A hospital is a large office building with some wards bolted on for the look of the thing. Bureaucrats include diversity, outreach, inclusion and equality staff who have absolutely nothing to do with healing the sick.
Education. This is one of the worst because of the sheer volume of lies that 'teachers' are telling. Lies about the climate, about race, about history and about the rules society should follow.
You can tar every government department with the same brush including the armed forces now. Bureaucracy has subsumed whatever purpose the departments originally had.
Another massive expense is the consequences of importing the third world into Britain. You have been told that this is a net benefit and the nation is enjoying the wonderful benefits of a dynamic and vibrant multicultural society. That is a MASSIVE lie.
The basic immigrant fetched across the Channel is a male with high expectations and no impulse control. They arrive, make demands and insist that their entire village be brought over to 'reunite them with their families'.
Their wishes are granted. Top of the housing list. Free money to spend. Free health care. Free dental care. Free schooling for their offspring. All at YOUR expense. And they over-inbreed the next generation that will demand the same.
If you haven't realised yet that we are being replaced by these gimmigrants it’s time you did. The media are trying to hide it and Tommy Robinson keeps getting arrested for pointing it out.
It's not the older generations of working people who are destroying your future. It's the parasites who are leeching it out of you. The vampires. The liberals, the conservatives and the labour parties. The local council. The bureaucrats.
Your children will not even be able to own a car. The British Government Of Globalist Occupation at the behest of those way up there in the shadows will see to it that they will struggle all their lives with a worse standard of living than YOU will have. And the future government will probably have your children blaming YOU.

And Then It Starts…

Well, so, I see the heferlump in the room’s got it’s first Member of Perliment as George galloped-away to a win. Unsurprisingly, the possible demographic of the majority heferlump voters isn’t dwelled upon in any reporting by the MSM of the voting numbers with regards to this win other than mentioning it’s a resounding call for a cessation of shooting in some place way down south the way. Can’t think why not. Wedges with thin ends springs to mind.
In other 'news' I see Rich-boy Sadsack is bunging that Ukranky fellow another phew quid to assist him in attempting to repel an invasion{?} whilst ignoring the invasion of the country he was, supposedly, put in position to protect, goes ever onwards totally, like, unabated.
Anyhoo, let’s give all that no never mind - for now - as we're popping out to Alans Snackbar for a bight to eat...

And Then, Another Giveaway...

I spotted this a couple of days ago and thought it could be a spoof but it seems, sadly, it was right.
About wot then? Why the continuing generosity of our PPM – that would be our Puppet Prime Minister – with our money. At least he had the decency to ask us if we agreed with - and supported - this act of giving our money, at a time of hardship here, to far away lands. Say wot now? He didn’t ask us? Oh.
On this show of generosity to other countries I feel it’s safe to assume that next week it’ll be tax cuts for all here. Breath holding would be ill advised.
Never mind; I’m sure this gang of gangsters will be toast at the next election and we’ll most likely get a Labour government that’ll take no time at all in hammering home the last couple of nails into the UK coffin.
Click through below to the Tube-of-You as the comments are worth a brows.

In other Sad-sack news, it seems he’s allowing – pause for an hour - banned fracking here so he’s agreed to buy and ship US fracked gas to us. That would be shipped by vessels powered by wot we’re told is planet killing diesel, right? Just how dumb do you need to be to get the top job these days eh?
Never mind; if it saves just one decimal point of one thousandth of one quarter of one degree...

And Then, Wot Next...

...one has to wonder now we have a foreign fellow in charge of wot used to be our country. So it’s rich-boy Sad-sack and Jeremy punting us up a dirty creek where he’ll dump us all without any paddles.
It was sort of obvious this would happen as soon as we saw ol’ whitey losings just about all the lucrative TV advertising gigs wasn’t it?
By-the-by, you seen that TV advert for some sort of Christmas charity? Just give twenty-seven pounds and five pence. Wot’s that all about then? Never mind. Oh, damn! I’ve only got the five pence...
Spotted this, wot I’ve copied and plastered below, over at Going Postal. Usual humble apologies to Gumblina1, but it sums up so much in a few words so I thought it was well deserving of a much smaller audience...

Gumblina1
”See the Tories are blaming Putin for all our woes but:
Did Putin force us to go into lockdown?
Did Putin ask for sanctions that would harm us rather than Russia?
Did Putin force green taxes, net zero etc?
Was it not Boris who threatened Ukraine NOT to have peace talks with Putin or no more monies?
Was it not the West who poked the bear funding the Ukraine army to attack their own people on the basis they were Russian etc, ignoring agreements with Russia from the past?”

And Then, Another...

Still here but I had stuff to do in wot passes for the real world and Head Rambles has an interesting theory on that and believes the software we’re operating under right now needs either some serious debugging or resetting to an earlier version.
Me, myself and I become more convinced with every passing day, along the same lines as Head Rambles, that we’re all bit players in some sort of civilisation game being played by not the brightest boy in the box, on his tap-top in another dimension. Millions of years for us are a mere four or so evenings of game play for him. I’m also guessing he’s realised the complete cluster he’s made of it and he’s hovering the cursor over the little box marked Click To Restart At A New Big Bang. So one click and it’s bu-by y’all.
My other theory is that this bit o’ rock we’re hurtling through space and time on started out as/is the insane asylum for a far, far away advanced civilisation.
Anyhoo, in case you missed it, little Lizzy’s been trussed-up and we have the prospect of another nail bighting week of excitement to see who’ll be next.
Regards the above, and as suggested a little bit after a while ago, this is the perfect time for all those little right of centre parties to sit down, thrash out their differences and publish a manifesto to favour the wellbeing of the indigenous Brits.
Two years to get it together as many, many folk now feel they have no political home. And then I spotted a comment on Sir John Redwood’s site. So I’m not alone... Usual apologies for copying and précising.
Iain gill
”Forget it John. Either resign your seat or join the reform, sdp, or ukip and get them to merge, or help form a new party.”

As for that pension rise triple lock thingy, yes or no? Never mind, triple socks it is then.
In other ‘news’, that’s the way to do it. Poor darlings eh?
Need cheering up a tad after all that and wot’s going on out there? Enjoy.

And Then A Thought...

Possibly, like me, your excitement knows no bounds as I breathlessly follow the competition for leadership of the  so called Conservative Party – thus the country – presently taking place, right? I’m still a firm supporter of Larry the cat...
Anyhoo, here’s a thought. And a thought it will forever remain.
A quick Google would suggest the average wage here in the UK is somewhere between twenty six and thirty six thou a year. So here’s an idea:
Rather than gaining a foothold in politics being seen as a path to wealth via huge salaries and seemingly unlimited expenses, let’s have a fundamental change to ensure those seeking power by promising so much to get there, understand that all politicians, top to bottom, Lords and louts, will be ‘working’ for the average UK wage, sans expenses, and access to any personal wealth they may have, will be blocked while they’re serving the country. Thus we’d all truly be in the same boat and this would surely focus their minds on working to better the life of themselves and thus those that elected them. Us. They’d, I’m sure, view green taxes in a new light, train tracks to nowhere and overseas aid. Anything to lessen the tax burden, right?
By-the-by, rather than sending ‘aid’ money to various countries, why aren’t we billing those countries for the cost, at a reported million dabs a day and rising, for putting those gimmigrants up in hotels?
Anyhoo, as a further step, include all in local government and all civil serpents on the average wage thus only those with a true desire to serve and improve their country and its peoples living standards would consider applying.
The list of those that, in one way or another,  oversee our lives could go on a way could it not? But it might go a long way to ensuring those that seek such posts are doing so for the right reasons rather than viewing it as a nest feathering venture and if their lives are our lives, many minds will be well focused on improving their lot and those actions will obviously improve our lot. And that’s why they chose politics or the public sector; to serve and improve the lot of the people.
Oh how we laughed at that idea.
Regards all being in the same boat, below sums up the boat we all be on right now...

Quote;  Oscar Ameringer.

“Politics is the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich, by promising to protect each from the other.”

And Then, A Choice...

With ever mounting excitement, I tune into the ‘news’ every half hour to see the latest runners wanting to take over from our Prime Minister and her husband Mr Bojangles. With ever mounting disappointment I switch back into Sponge Bob Square Pants.
Last time I looked, the favourite seems to be Rich-boy Sad-sack. An Indian millionaire who’ll have little interest in tackling the gimmigrant problem and it’s doubtful he fully understands the concerns of the indigenous population regards their worries at the ever spiralling upwards cost of smartphones and related contracts. Wot could possibly go wrong?
As if that wasn’t enough to worry about, wot with co-co an’ all, there’s now another hot level two health warning out. Obviously the elderly have never encountered warm weather before. Anyhoo, we have been suitably brain fed into fear so my little nest of vipers and I will be withdrawing to the cupboard under the stairs ‘till normality returns. We could be under there for some considerable time I guess...
I’ll leave y’all with a step back to a classic wot I’ve featured before. Hell, it might’ve been yesterday for all I remember.
See? The anti smoking and drinking lobby were way more fun back then eh?

Quote;  Louis Pasteur.

“A bottle of wine contains more philosophy that all the books in the world.”

7 Jul 2022

And Then, Going, Going...

Well, so, Mr Bojangles is gone. All we have to guess at now is his replacement, their choice of wallpaper and will they keep the cat. May I suggest someone just about to leave primary school?
Seems some/all them wot quit will get a twenty five grand one-off bung to ease the pain of quitting. Once again we discover that our generosity knows no bounds.
It really is time all those fringe? parties, Reform, UKIP, For Britain and such, got together, thrashed out their differences, put together a manifesto for us rather than ‘them’, picked a charismatic, believable leader and stepped-up. But that’s just me.
In the comments last night, Doonhamer hit it firmly on the head and I’m guessing mirrors a huge number of thoughts out there:
The eedjits ruin the UK economy, preside over an NHS not-fit-for-purpose, a pathetic Police industry, sky rocketing energy prices, runaway illegal immigration, a world class Defence with armoured vehicles that shake the teeth from occupants skulls and £100 million aircraft that fall off the bows of useless aircraft carriers, - I could go on.
And what does for BoJo is a groper. Oh yes all these resigners have principles. And as Groucho said, if you do not like these principles, they have others.

Let’s have a sing along that Mr Bojangles should’ve checked-out earlier and thus could’ve possibly avoided this period of high entertainment he’s blessed us with.

Quote;  Eric Berne.

6 Jul 2022

And Then, Choice Of Words...

It may have escaped your notice but, over the past many days or so, there’s been a big brouhaha about some MP wot got drunk and allegedly grabbed and groped some fellows inappropriately. These gropees later reported said bad behaviour. This, of course, could all have been avoided if, rather than whining about it later, one of said gropees had just turned round and punched the gropers lights out.
Anyhoo, this seems to be bringing Mr Bojangles a tad of bother with MPs and others, resigning all over the place regards wot he said he didn’t know verses wot he actually did know about the bad boy wot he actually promoted.
Regards this, the TV ‘news’ channels have all been lit up for the past twenty four hours with, I’m sure, many hours yet to follow and the bit that stuck with me was some BBC political ‘reporter’, standing outside the Houses of Parliament this morning and remarking that there were many MPs hanging around outside so he was, in his words, going to try and grab a few... A somewhat unfortunate or intentional? choice of words given wot kicked off all the fuss eh?

Quote;  Robert Solow.

And Then, A Comment...

Anonymous   So, petrol and diesel heading towards two pounds a litre eh? Transport charges up, shop prices up to cover then. How easy it would be to ease the ‘pain’ by scrapping VAT and green levies, right?
Oh, wait. A goodly chunk of those green thingies go to their land owning buddies wot have one or many of they bird chopping chappies on their land so cutting that would never do would it?
Never mind, I’m sure all the sacrifices we’re making on this little island are on course to extend the planets life by a goodly second or two. Not sure about extending the life of our elderly though, one of which I be. But they’re not required on voyage anyway, right?
Below is a comment to last nights post left by the good Doonhamer wot, I reckon, says so much regards where we are. Thank you.
