Well, so, it’s been on the ‘news’ today that income tax could go up a tad. With the oft reported current cost of living crisis, every little hurts.
Don’t those up there ever think things through? Tax up so folk will be unable to buy stuff resulting in many shops wot sell stuff not ordering new stuff to sell and possibly shutting down. Obviously, the makers of
stuff will see they’re no longer selling stuff to retailers so will cut back, or stop making stuff altogether, and also possibly shutting down.
All this will result in ever more folk unemployed and thus ever more folk that can’t afford to buy stuff.
So round and round and down and down we go we go, eh?
The other item making headlines is the weather round the Caribbean with winds of 185 miles per hour. I wonder if the phrase they’re dropping for the sake of drama is, ‘...strong
winds with gusts of up to 185 MPH’

“If you've got a billion dollars and you're ungrateful, you're a poor man. If you have very little but you're grateful for what you have, you're truly rich.”
