I see there was a game of footy last night in which a gang of girls gained glory. No, we didn’t watch the match but it’s been unavoidable when trying to find any ‘news’ today. And possibly for a few days yet to come.
Anyhoo, well done ladies for achieving way more than the usually allotted five minutes of fame but it’s now time to ascertain the state of cleanliness behind the fridge after your prolonged absence from the real world.
Interesting to see Sad-Sack has ‘promised’ to cut income tax by twenty percent by 2030. One has to wonder wot he’s been doing while in charge of our money for all that time and wot’s changed does it not? That’ll be a cracker for all on the basic tax rate of twenty percent, right? Oh, wait a percentage point, he means twenty percent of twenty percent which is only a little number thus the headline, reduce by a big number. I’m betting many a recently left university person has fallen for the ‘message’ and believe they’ll be earning up to fifty grand a year tax free...
