And Then, Stuck In Reverse...

Regards my recent voyage back in time, Anonymous Rick left a comment the other evening, a snip of which is below;

“And remember cap guns and cowboy outfits (hat, waistcoat, gunbelt, sheriffs badge)? And water pistols (can you still get those?).”

Now, the mention of cap guns tripped my trigger, so to speak, so may I humbly point any of you of an age back a ways? I can? Thanks. Let’s face it, back then was more fun than fast-forward to here and now, right? Posts were put together back in 2010 so links may not be wot they used to be and as it’s back to the olden days, I do, again, apologise for the use of punctuation and capitalization but please don’t assume the gender of said grammar; it can be wot you wish it to be, okay?

Without further adid, here’s a bit about caps. The link to Super Caps no longer works so try this link to see some. Can you still buy a cap gun? Check this out. I’m somewhat surprised and they seem tad more scary lookin’ than I remember.

And as a back at ya Anonymous Rick, have at this. Remember those adverts? Bet you do now! No idea why I made the pictures so small but I’m sure you know how to embiggen them. And that’s another broken link so try this one. Damned if you can’t still buy one!
Addendumadodad: And now, in wot seems like the blink of an eye, I’ve moved on from those fun adverts to adverts for stair lifts and mobility scooters... Not quite, but you get my drift.

Water pistols? Not quite like I remember...

Anyhoo, I need to stop ‘cause if I keep going back I’m going to end up wearing a diaper again and that’d be me covered top and bottom, and typing gibberish. Say wot now? Oh, about that I be sad and overflowing with sorrowfulness.
