Second-up is the news that they’ve managed to navigate a small craft for five years, over a distance of one point seven billion miles, that’s one point seven billion miles, and get it into orbit round Jupiter. Meanwhile, on our little island on this insignificant chunk of rock we call home, we can’t manage to run trains to time and it’s rapidly becoming impossible to drive your car for more than a hundred yards without having to take evasive action to avoid risking the ruination of the suspension by plunging into a pothole.
