And Then It Was Quiet….

Move along please, nothing much to read here. And don’t slam the DOOR!!

I see that ‘Propeller Head’ has made the news again as he too seems to be suggesting we all move along. Move along to cheaper energy providers. Good to note there wasn’t the slightest hint of the green actions of his and his fellow hooks, crooks and comic singers that are well up there as the main drivers of these escalating prices. He’s a hand is he? Big hand for Huhne? Oh, yes please!!

Please, oh please, let me bump into him in a Tesco… Waitrose car-park one time; just the one time. Please. Just a quick word in his shell like, then punch his lights out.

Then we have the forehead of doom giving 0.7 per cent of gross domestic product on aid. Now I may not be the brightest crayon in the pencil case when it comes to things financial, but are we not loaning money every month to make our own ends meet? Would that not make 0.7 percent of nothing, absolutely nothing at all? Or is he going to bob along to Wonga.com?

On the subject of aid – if my good buddy, who has first hand experience of trying to delivering aid, reads this, drop me a line with the full SP of your tsunami tale, when you can, and I’ll guest you. Sounds grand that doesn’t it? Guest post. Wow.

Mr. Micawber pretty well nailed; "Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen pounds nineteen and six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery."

On the bright side, if he can loan more to give more, then I’m sure he’ll do the same, come winter, to increase our old and infirm folks winter fuel allowance, right? Sorry? He recently did what? Oh. He’s a hand is he?

Going by the shabby start to summer where wot I am, I bet a lot of heating be needed now, never mind the coming winter. I must apologise to EU Referendum for nicking this little picture, but I have.

Summer

If it’s all getting too much for you, and you’re considering getting out of this country, why not make a slight adjustment to your travel plans and try to re-locate to Planet Hoonaloon? Seems all is well up there.

Read this before you book that seat on a ship to the stars.

Quote; Ambrose Bierce.

“Electricity seems destined to play a most important part in the arts and industries. The question of its economical application to some purposes is still unsettled, but experiment has already proved that it will propel a street car better than a gas jet and give more light than a horse.”

Hi Andy,
You're not talking about me are you, when we dumped tens of thousands of pounds worth of goods into the river rather than pay import duties, had to hand over vital medical supplies to 'government reps and their families (confiscated/stolen), whatever you want to call it, whilst the 'big charities' sat in 5 star hotels guzzling wine and wondering what to do with their 'donated' money months after the event...
