And Then There Was Saturday Reading….

Via Bishop Hill are these two pieces well worth a read through Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

Try playing this in the background while you read. Sony won’t let me do the embedanization thingy with this one. Try it, it's mellow and you may well need 'mellow' while reading the links.

First up this little ray of sunshine regarding our electricity bills. We know this, but please read.

You with us Mr.Huhne? Okay, never mind. Lamp posts await. You know what? We’ll find you and your pals even in the dark.

And this little cracker from Mr. Clive James.

Then there’s this from Climate Change Dispatches. A tad late, but I’ve only just found the site. Made me smile. Make you smile ‘Propeller Head’?

Quote; Dave Barry.

“It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds, for the opportunity to rain on a tent.”

Now I know this is a sad commentary on the childlike qualities the memsahib says I possess in abundance, but I did like Ralph's comments on the Climate Change Dispatches thingy..

And Groucho's thoughtful quote to the left of your post is something I intend to send in one way or another to the Huhne android.

What is to be done about that man?

What to do with any of them? I do like the letter sent by EUReferendum; http://eureferendum.blogspot.com/2011/03/remove-from-friends.html

I'm considering something along those lines to Mr. Huhn although I'm sure he must get a thousand a day.

Will it do any good? No. Will it make me feel a tad better? Yes.
