I see one of our main airports had to shutdown owing to a major fire in a short stay car-park. Early daze but already there are conflicting reports on wot started the fire.
First out of the box was a lekky car overheated whilst being charged. With recent incidents of lekky cars catching fire, I can go along with that. However, as we are all obliged to go lekky in the coming years, this could
be bad news for the already falling sales and rising insurance of said lekky cars. The answer? The media are now suggesting the fire started in a filthy, planet destroying diesel car. And we all know how prone they are to
instantaneous combustion don’t we...
If indeed it was a lekky car, that adds another thought to consider when planning a trip to town to brows the shuttered shops on the high street with the only available parking being
in a multi story car-park does it not?
In other ‘news’, after watching a bit of early morning BBC TV, I see that, slowly, slowly, they’re starting to side with the plight{?} of the Gazy gang. No surprise
there then.
One thing’s for sure; it’s a war and, way down here as was ever thus, there’ll only be losers so let’s have these two oldies again:
Quote; Chinese Proverb.
“The fire you kindle for your enemy often burns yourself more than them.”
