Anyhoo, as you’ll have spotted by the title, and my missing for many days, is the result of ma heed being empty. Okay, nothing new there, it’s more a lack of anything occurring on the home front wot warrants time on the tap-top. And on the world front? Wot a bloody mess the grownups are making of that.
One thing worthy of note is us having lunch out the other day at a place we always take lunch at when having a day in that town. Always the same two meals and drinks. Last time? About eight months ago? A tad over nineteen dabs. This time for exactly the same? A tad over twenty-three dabs for notably smaller portions. That’ll put the punters off right? Damn! The place was absolutely ram jammed. Cost of living crisis eh?
In other ‘news’, I see that Ukranky leader{?} has been having a phew globe trotting away days. My only thought is that, as with all such conflicts, one day, someone will be on TV, smiling, soaking in the limelight and declaring himself as the winner forgetting the tens – hundreds? – of thousands who really lost for his win... Sad is it not? Just so one guy can say this soil’s mine.
Climate catastrophe incoming? I’m told the UK is going to be warmer than some other place. For balance, they could also have breathlessly announced ...and cooler than some other place. Yeah, that’ll happen eh?
