Well, not exactly. The TV seem like they’re holding back somewhat on the ‘ultra hard right thuggery’ of yesterday. They are reporting it of course and highlighting the fact that a hundred arrests were made. A hundred? That’s only on a par with earlier arrests at other demos when statues were destroyed or defaced along with various memorials, right? Oh, wait a minute...
As for the fellow photographed taking a leak on the memorial to that PC, I see he’s handed himself in. Bad choice of place for a moments relief but respect for surrendering. I can only assume the fellow who took a leak at the base of the Churchill statue is in the process of being identified prior to arrest. Assuming he hasn’t handed himself in already. I’m sure the media will keep us informed on that one. Holding of breath is not advised.
Another shooting death in the US? Can’t help feeling something big and nasty is out of the box and this-way comes.
