Cast your mind back to the post wot I posted on 9 January wherein I proposed an alternative to the health angle on the ever onwards and downwards banning brigade. That post also made mention to yet further back to where I mused on the present proliferation of full beards in the media. Here’s a clip of the 9 January post posted on, yup, you guessed it, 9 January:
Remember a while ago I noted that almost all advertising, real and subliminal, had started featuring young fellows with full beards? What’s that all about I mused. Think on that; think on the moves to wipe out smoking, the slow{?} moves to outlaw alcohol and the gentle start to scaring us off pork. See a pattern emerging now?
As much as you all probably laughed at the ravings of that post, take a look at the two links below.
Let’s start with the Telegraph, the church and beards.
And then move to Germany, with the help of the Mail Online for this bit about alcohol.
So there you go then. You think it’s possible that ol’ Foggy isn’t quite as far ‘out there’ as you thought he was and, rather than laughing at him, you should just stand in wonderment at the foresight of this daft old bugg... blogger? No? You’re probably right. Nevermind, laughing’s good for you.
Let’s bookmark that 9 January post and wait to see what we get if we do get a warm, sunny summer. Who knows?
Time to bring Bocephus out of left field again you reckon? As you’ll see, He’s sporting a full beard... how ironic is that then? Enjoy.

Hey Mac. Thanks for the JukeDeck link. It looks awesome, though I haven't had the chance to try it yet, I'm still messing with this PC.
You were spot on - There was an update and the privacy settings were shot again. I've taken drastic steps this time - all of those 'apps' like Mail, Cortana and Store are gone. So is that bloody audio driver (which came back every time it was uninstalled). I've found a way, contrary to what Microsoft will tell you, of using the Power Shell to delete all those apps. OneDrive is gone too.
But then, I also discovered that despite those apps not being there, Win 10 is still trying to phone home - to 38 different hosts, no less on my machine, using MY bandwidth. So I've found a way to silence those too.
If it takes your interest, this video will show you exactly what Windows 10 is doing. The chap in the video is a bit loud but note what he discovers about Edge. I also recommend you download and run the program from the link in the video information. Also run it after every Windows update.
