First, and a tad late, some good news. Alex Marsh, the author of the most excellent adventures of JonnyB, through his Private Secret Diary, is back but this time round he be him. JonnyB is archived, for the two of you out there who missed him first time round, and accessible from the site. Kick-off for Jonny was January 2004 – can you believe that?
Now for one of those thingies you just know has to be some sort of a wind-up but, sadly, seems to be genuine. As the saying goes, you really couldn’t make that up. I got there through a link in the comments to a piece by Nigel Mirage over at Breitbart. I wonder, do they get to keep the gun when they qualify as a sniper? And, obviously very quietly, this ‘training’ has already been running for two years. Two years. Is that a plan or wot? No, really, what could possibly go wrong? Hello? Is there anybody in charge anywhere anymore?
