There's an interesting point raised over at Not A Lot Of People Know That and it's strange that
nobody's picked up on it before.
Climate science is settled, right? Tipping points
an' all that. We're basically doomed as any 'action' now will be too little, too
late and it'll all be over sometime soon and we, along with all creatures great
and small, with the possible exception of cockroaches, other than those
cockroaches in government, will be extinct. End of story, right? So there's
really no need for further funding for the climate scare industry; they've
completed their mission; the science is settled; we're over the tipping point
and we're doomed. So shutdown their research grants as they're no longer
required on our voyage through life.
Greenpeas? WWF and similar 'saving stuff' big
business, mega-wealthy charities? You're doomed along with
the rest of us so what's your point? There's obviously no point at all in
pouring money into those countless attempts to supposedly try and save
white bears and big cat do-dads and other cute fury stuff that climate change
is threatening as, yet again, the science is settled so they're obviously doomed
along with the rest of us, right? So shutdown these charities as they're no
longer required on our voyage through life.
Then, just today, we learn that ninety percent of cancers are caused just by being
alive. With that news shouldn't ASH, the Who-be-do and the hundreds of other
lifestyle hectoring charities be wrapped up? Why not just
put a little label on everything, yes, everything, simply stating that there's
a remote chance that this thingy that this here warning label is attached to
may, just may, kill you at some unknown time in the future. End of story. So
shutdown these charities as they're no longer required on
our voyage through life.
That is it. With the above signage we will all
know exactly where we stand. The hand wringing, bed wetting Timidadians can stay
in their wet beds, chewing their pillows and crying and the rest of us can just
get on with stuff in the certain knowledge that one day, come what may, we will
be but star dust again. That is, carry on pretty much as we do right
now.
Quote; Monty Python. {Again.}
"I think that all good, right thinking people in
this country are sick and tired of being told that all good, right thinking
people in this country are fed up with being told that all good, right thinking
people in this country are fed up with being sick and tired. I'm certainly not,
and I'm sick and tired of being told that I am."
