And Then Some Funnies….

So, the big 'leaders' debate's over. You did watch it, right? Did I? Do you seriously need to ask? I came away from two hours of watching re-runs of SpongeBob  wonderfully relaxed, in fine humour and probably better informed than those seven mill or so folks wot watched the debate.

From the press and TV news it seems there was no winner thus, to use my new journalistic word trick, they were all losers.

Never mind, nothing's changed out here so below please find a few chuckles for Saturday courtesy of Big D down under.

An Airline introduced a special package for business men.
Buy your ticket, get your wife's ticket free.
After great success, the company sent letters to all the wives asking how they enjoyed their trips.
All of them gave the same reply..."What trip?"

Woman buys a new SIM Card. Puts it in her phone and decides to surprise her husband who is seated on the couch in the living room.
She goes to the kitchen, calls her husband with the new number. "Hello Darling." The husband quickly responds in a low tone, "Let me call you back later Honey, the wife's in the kitchen."

A lady to doctor: "My husband has a habit of talking in his sleep! What should I give him to cure it?"
Dr : "Give him an opportunity to talk when he's awake."

Doctor: "Madam, your husband needs rest and peace, so here are some sleeping pills."
Wife: "Doc, when should I give them to him?"
Doctor: "They're for you!"

Quote;  Jarod Kintz.

“I once watched several criminals engage in an organized argument, while an audience of supporters cheered them on, but I was so disgusted that I had to turn off the political debate.”

Grandson likes SpongeBob although just lately he's moved on to Penguins of Madagascar. Both are better than adult TV in my view.

A K Haart,
TV, and what is loosly called viewing choice, is quite abysmal is it not? I do believe us older folk will eventually go forward to the past and will soon have a small piano where the TV set once was.
