And Then Sounds For Grey Days….

It’s been a grey day which has turned into a dark, damp and chilly night so I hope, like me, you are toasting your toes in front of the fire with a favourite drink to hand and possibly a bowl of cheesy nibbles. On reflection, it doesn’t get much sadder than cheesy nibbles does it?

However, if your intention is to whirl round your list of Blogs Of Interest and try to discover what’s really happening in the world and need a nice set of sounds to accompany you on your mind travels, I’ve added Deep Cafe Volume 11 to that list of Stuff I Like that you may also like over there on the left. Relaxing sounds, nicely put together to see you through the evening. Headset set to bass is recommended but not compulsory.

Caught a trailer for some new{?} TV series and thought the music sounded remarkably like ol’ Fever Ray but after a little investigation, and for ‘investigation’ read Google the sucker, I discovered it’s the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Like it but doesn’t it sound like this slightly creepy number by Fever Ray?

Oh, and I do apologise for the shocking scenes of people actually smoking in the first clip and do hope it doesn’t tempt anyone who’s never smoked in their lives to rush out and buy a pack. However, if you do dash out, could you bring me back a six-pack o’ Becks please? Cheers. And some cheesy nibbles!

Enjoy your evening.

"Music gives a soul to the universe,
wings to the mind,
flight to the imagination,
and life to everything."
