And Then, Well, Graph It….

I know, I know. I’m so far behind again it’s starting to look like I may truly be a professional hind moster.

See this graph? {On loan from Watts Up With That.}2014-02-08_154325

Scary right? A really scary lookin’ graph, put together by scary people with the intention of scaring easily scared, nay, already scared Timidadians.

Me? I have admit to being  somewhat  graphologistically challenged when presented with a chart with that many squiggly lines on it. Where to start? How to finish? Why is Hitler? Who was Spain? Know what I mean?

Happily, to help me, and possibly yourself, Here are two guys and one straight edge to tear the chart a new one so please check, and pass it on, this little video to see how it’s done. As the song says, it aint what you graph, it’s the way that you graph it – and that's what gets results!

You know what? I’m betting even Crazy Davey could get his head round that sucker.

Quote;  Adlai E. Stevenson.

“We can chart our future clearly and wisely only when we know the path which has led to the present.”

Yes, graphs are good, but must also be one of the most deceptive ideas ever invented. Such as the hockey stick.

Deceptive indeed. Looks like, dependent on chosen start and end points, you can pretty much make them 'say' anything you want.

I thought the 2 guys were brilliant at exposing the sham info. As they say, there's lies, damn lies and statistics

Anonymous - And very simply done! You think we'll see the clip on BBC TV any time soon?
