And Then, Yet Another End….

The good Captain has announced he’s bailing out.  He do seem to make these announcements with alarming regularity so I wouldn’t read too much into this.

In case you do abandon the Blog and let it sink, here’s a soupçon of Steeleye Span by way of farewell.  Hope it plays down there in SA.  Oh, and you need to read the quotes below.

On the other hand, if you’re just playing a modern version of that well known party game, Blog-Mans-Bluff, well, see you in a couple of days. Meantime, be well.

Addendum:- In other news, pop over to Bishop Hill and, If you haven't already, you should read this.  The comments are priceless.  Here's a taster;
"
Environmentalists (un-named) are objecting to the destruction of the environment by environmentalists, in order to save the environment. You couldn't make it up."

Quote;  Arnold Schwarzenegger.

“Learned helplessness is the giving-up reaction, the quitting response that follows from the belief that whatever you do doesn't matter.”

            Douglas MacArthur.

“Age wrinkles the body. Quitting wrinkles the soul.”

            Og Mandino.

“Whenever you make a mistake or get knocked down by life, don't look back at it too long. Mistakes are life's way of teaching you. Your capacity for occasional blunders is inseparable from your capacity to reach your goals. No one wins them all, and your failures, when they happen, are just part of your growth. Shake off your blunders. How will you know your limits without an occasional failure? Never quit. Your turn will come.”
