Ans Then, Who's Next....

It’s interesting to see in the news that overweight folk, claiming unemployment benefits may, only may, have their money cut unless they take exercise to reduce their weight. What an absolute belter!!

I wonder if any of these overweight but non-smoking folk, a few years ago, who had smoking friends, laughed out loud when they went to the pub and their smoking friends had to stand outside. I really hope they didn’t laugh. Did you laugh? That’s a shame isn’t it? It’s your turn in their sights now. Excuse me if I chuckle.

Although I must say it’s gotta be a definite bummer if you’re an unemployed, fat fellow who smokes, enjoys a drink, a burger, salt and sugar.

Remember at that time all those officialators and top type people asserting that the smoking ban was most definitely a one off and of course this wasn’t the start of a slippery banny-nanny slope. What they were actually thinking was that if people roll over for the smoking ban, and that’s a biggy, then; whoa!! Make a list. We’ll just keep rolling along - we’ve got ‘em!!

Remember the poem? First they came for the smokers.....

The cross-hairs are ever moving now and there won’t be any end to any of this.  Who, what's next?  Look out behind you!!!!!

Quote; P. J. O'Rourke

“If you are young and you drink a great deal it will spoil your health, slow your mind, make you fat - in other words, turn you into an adult.”

Thanks. After I posted that I found this quote which also fits;

John Alejandro King.

"If you're not scared or angry at the thought of a human brain being controlled remotely, then it could be this prototype of mine is finally starting to work."
