And Then It Was Up And Booked….

I’m resting after a couple or three heavy days. Heavy? Heavy for this old boy.

Shed’s up and looking good; more later, after a rest.

Train tickets booked for the trip. I was staggered at the stonking price. Okay, it’s a long time since I was on a train, but three hundred and seventy quid for two tickets from Yorkshire to London and back? We could take a weeks holiday on the Costa Del Benidorm for that. Wait a minute. On reflection, the train trip’ll do thanks.

I’ll leave you with a couple of music bits while I relax. First up is a dramatically different take on the shanty, The Coast of High Barbary; cool.

Secondly up is The Imagined Village. Ran into them while searching for something by The Krankies. Don’t start it and stop it right quick, hang in there as it’s pretty damn cool.

They both have slightly hectic ending bits do they?

Quote; Mark Twain.

“We consider that any man who can fiddle all through one of those Virginia Reels without losing his grip, may be depended upon in any kind of musical emergency.”
