And Then There Were Sunday Prayers….

You should pop along to Constantly Furious as he has provided us with our Sunday prayer. I trust this will be offered up throughout the land today. Believer? Non-believer? Who cares, it’s gotta be worth a shot.

After reading that, I was reminded of the old Bus Drivers Prayer.

Our Father,
Who art in Hendon
Harrow be Thy name.
Thy Kingston come,
Thy Wimbledon
In Erith as it is in Hendon.
Give us this day our daily Brent
And forgive us our Westminster's
As we forgive those who Westminster against us.
Lead us not into Thames Ditton
But deliver us from Ealing,
For thine is the Kingston
The Purley and the Crawley,
For Iver and Iver
Crouch End.

Finally, the last Sunday storey, ever, as it’s the end of my religious knowledge.

If God Had Been A Woman:-

On the first day God created the earth and all was blackness.

On the second day God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

On the third day God said “Erm, could I see the black again please?”

Quote; Fulton Sheen.

"Hearing nuns' confessions is like being stoned to death with popcorn."
