The other topic wot’s slowly getting more and more attention by the media ‘news’ outlets is the ‘alarming’ increase in shoplifting and gangs shop invading. Just a guess
on my fully tin foil clad part, but could it be them following instructions from above to slowly instil the understanding of why we need to go cashless as high street shops will be shutting and going on line, leaving their
premises securely shuttered and alarmed to act as store rooms only?
Wot about supermarkets and the like I hear you ask. Entry will require the swiping of your card and all goods will be behind metal, alarmed doors
with graphics on ‘em depicting the goods behind the shutters. You want a jar of coffee? Find the locker, swipe your card again to open the shutter, remove your chosen brew wot will scan itself as it passes out of the
locker and the cost automatically deducted from you government allowed card balance. Easy.
