And Then

Firstly, and that’s why it’s right up here at the top, in the off chance you haven’t yet ventured over to A K Haart, please do. It’s, like, an awesome, like, post. Younger folk please be aware the post contains punctuation that may offend or frighten some.
   Have a look at this
‘bloody’ link provided by the good Ripper. Still want that puncture wound?
There’s another interesting read and video at Conservative Woman.  Remember the mention that co-co was a stepping stone to see wot they could make folk do in preparation for climate change? Via a link in that linked bit is this bit. Who’d a thunk it?
As I scanned down the Google News page I saw this. Strangely, it was tucked away way down in the Entertainment section. This, I would suggest, is a bit of a mistake as I’m guessing the Entertainment section is probably the go to section for those of younger years. That was early – spookily, it’s now been moved to the co-co section. A section I’d imagine rarely visited by the younger folk. Hiding bad news from the young who’re soon to be persuaded to get punctured?
I also see that gas boilers could be
banned in fourteen years. Hope I’m still here to fight that loon of a ‘plan’. You remember voting for this lunacy? And eco-friendly heat pumps{?} cost about ten grand? How cool is that then. That would be ‘cool’ on so many levels...

“Nothing travels faster than the speed of light with the possible exception of bad news, which obeys its own special laws. The Hingefreel people of Arkintoofle Minor did try to build spaceships that were powered by bad news but they didn't work particularly well and were so extremely unwelcome whenever they arrived anywhere that there wasn't really any point in being there.”

Thanks for the link. The gas boiler game is more worrying that the coronavirus game, but maybe that's why such a fuss is still being made about the virus. Expect research to come out which shows that shivering in a cold house keeps the virus away.

A K Haart,
You're welcome as ever.
Sadly, your last sentence is, for sure, the direction of travel.
