Whilst making the first coffee of the day and for reasons not yet fully understood, a four digit number appeared in my head. Wot’s that then thought I. Ah, it’s
my tap-top Billy at the window PIN. Okay, but I’m on my second coffee now so why won’t it go away and leave me in peace?
Intrigued, I sat ma self down, turned on the tap-top and when prompted entered the PIN in my head. Guess wot. Incorrect PIN...
I finally got past the welcome screen using other means to be greeted with a computer I didn’t recognise. No shortcuts, none of my security kit, no Pop-Peeper and a
Firefox looking like issue one with no security or bookmarks.
After a couple of hours fumbling and stumbling with repeated attempts at the PIN I got it right and all is as it was. The PIN? I was wrong by one digit,
I got it right and quickly wrote it down. But on the sad side, this is a four digit number I’ve been using twice or four times a day for the three or more years I’ve had this tap-top. Why did a wrong, by one digit,
PIN take up, uninvited, early morning residence in ma old heed? And I’m only going to get older, eh?
Other than that, a perusal of the ‘news’ is now becoming more and more like viewing a comedic horror show is it not?

Yes it is and I don't think much of the performers either. The Keir and Rachel double act isn't even funny, although I'll admit it is fairly scary sometimes.
A K Haart,
Scary sometimes you say. Here's an idea: Instead of waiting 'till November, why don't they present the 'new' budget on Halloween? Trick or treat...
