And Then Military Money...

Well, so, here we go. A financial injection into the military. Some on the TV were concerned that some of that money will be deducted from ‘our’ overseas ‘aid’ budget. Seems like a plan to me as it’s quite possible some of this ‘aid’ money may well be getting used by these foreign fellows  to strengthen their military.

Let’s spare a moment to think recent things through. Foil hat ready? Then I’ll begin in no particular order.

Co-co-1984; Talk of restricting all travel and the use of road blocks. The need to ‘test’ everyone for Co-co although it’s voluntary; a vaccine is a-coming to be taken on a voluntary basis although it’s ‘hoped’ one and all will want it. Then we have the news that ‘they’ would like any talk against the vaccine an’ such to be classed as punishable naughty talk. You know wot?  There’ll be more stuff declared naughty just round the corner.

Then we hear that the army are ‘helping’ out in a few cities to get folk tested and are now being trained to administer the ‘optional’ vaccine. Optional, but ‘they’d’ really, really like everyone to have it. So, folk traveling too much, more folk need testing and tracing, vaccine on the way and, as if by magic and by a spooky coincidence, the armed forces have been presented with buckets o’ money. Take a moment to quietly put all that together.

As for electric cars, is there one that’ll pull a caravan further than just off the drive? How big a battery for a motor home? You seen the size of they trucks that get food an’ such to the shops? One trailer for cargo and one for the battery? I do hope motorbikes get a sound system to reproduce the satisfying sound as the whiz past at speed. Formula One? The winner being the guy with best battery power conservation after tearing round and round at thirty?

Gas boilers going along with, I believe, log burning stoves? And wood burning stoves is a bit of a mystery as I believe we have generating plant burning wood pellets. For younger readers, don’t be confused by the word ‘pellet’; those pellets started life as trees which were cut down into logs then shredded into pellets. So for generating juice or in your hoos, warming your toes, it’s still wood burning. One good, one bad it would seem.

And on and on and...
