And Then A Hack-Attack...

Seems those pesky Russians have been trying to hack the computers of folk developing a cure for this flue thingy wot’s doing the rounds. It’s also being roundly and breathlessly reported those same naughty Russians were/are spying on us. I’m sure that y’all, like me, are truly shocked at these revelations. All I can say is how pleased I am to live in a country that has the moral high ground with folk up there that would never stoop so low as hack or spy upon other countries. Would we? Nah, not us or the news would’ve mentioned it in the balanced reporting they’re so well-known for. So that kid in his bedroom at number fifteen can relax...

In other news, I was delighted to see so many deserving folk are going to be hosed with tax payers cash. Folk such as? The police for recently running from street parties and watching our countries history getting defaced or torn down. Our teachers for sitting at home since March, along with NHS staff for their sterling support of some media thingy called Tick-Tock and of course Look-At-Me’dia through the period of this pandemidodad.

Surprisingly, the TV news this AM only managed to find spokespeople for those getting a rise who thought that, on behalf of their colleagues, the rise was derisory; with one fellow stating that doctors would be going to work totally depressed at the news. How sadly predictable our media is.

Another flue item that grabbed my attention was the little known fact that thousands of families, during house arrest, got themselves puppies. And? And now folk are returning to work and shortly kids to school, these puppies will be left on their own and ‘experts’ are warning of a major outbreak of puppy anxiety. Man, this flue is the ‘news filler’ that just keeps on giving is it not.

There is an opportunity for those new puppy owners to do some charity work and send those puppies to North Korea where for some reason there is a shortage.

A K Haart,
That's a very naughty idea but I like it and think of the wall to wall sad eyed 'news' coverage that would generate.

Pay rises for the public sector? Which are generated by the private sector. The lunatics "in charge" have lost the plot.

Ed P,
As you say, plot well and truly lost. And this is a Conservative government with an eighty seat majority.
