Just passing by to say Hi, hello, how are you on this wet depressing day. A day that perfectly reflects the lamentable state of the governance of this country.
Who’d of guessed that a simple, once in a geriatric vote for either Leave of Remain – a vote that Leave won by the way – would result in three years plus of political upheaval comprising resignations, sackings, changes of political allegiances, the formation of ‘new’ political parties and general elections?
Way back, after weeks of information bombardment, we were asked to tick one of two boxes; either Leave or Remain. Leave got more ticks so those ‘up there’ had their very simple instruction. A simple instruction those hooks, crooks and comic singers ‘up there’ have managed to transform into something very close to the complexity of the instructions involved in the assembling of an Ikea double wardrobe.
You know wot? It’s been said before but, “Oh what a tangled web they weave, when first they practice to deceive.”
