And Then, Be Prepared...

I see the news is all about that deadly nerve agent that left a cat and a hamster dead in its wake again with everyone squealing that it was Vlad the lads boys wot done did it.

Me? I still don’t buy it and putting aside dodgy timelines an’ such, I have a couple of thoughts on the subject. These would be the thoughts of a simple man and one is, going on the CCTV images of the ‘bad boys’, I have to assume they were better turned out when they were interviewed and granted visas as businessmen by our embassies visa department over there the way. Rigorous background checks an’ all?

Me? I also understand that Russia has been in the espionage and clandestine operations business for an awful long time all around the world so, if it was them, why, when they had two folk to dispatch here, did they suddenly resort to dispatching two fellows who obviously hadn’t even completed chapter one of Clandestine Ops For Dummies relating to the avoidance, or not looking directly at, any CCTV cameras and to always wear a big floppy hat or a hoody when out and about in the target country.

Me? Did you see the pictures of some of our armed forces landing somewhere in Europe the other day? With the star spangled sphincter badge sown on the arm of their uniforms? Have you heard the government, via an unquestioning MSM, screeching about the danger presented by those naughty Russians and how they pose ‘a real and active threat to the UK’.  Standby now for the narrative to slowly{?} change to start reflecting that, in such troubling times with the might of Russia to face up to, there is only strength in numbers and it would be utter folly to withdraw from the protection afforded by membership of the EU and all its ‘united’ members as unity is strength and the best protection at this dangerous time. And for the foreseeable future of course. JD.

But that’s just me you understand.

You aint far off the mark.

Sadly if it came to a he said she said i'm more inclined to believe Vlad than our own leaders, especially one (an embarrassment to this country) who sees fit to cosy up to and support supposed leaders in their quest to steal land and turn a blind eye to race targeted murder.

From the start of this farce, and Brian Rix would have struggled to make this more of a farce than it already is, i've been wondering why the only assassin the Russians could find for this task was the village idiot, who not only didn't manage to kill his target, but also left a trail leading right back to the Kremlin, convenient or what.

Judd,
I believe we’re getting close to starting a new journey.
What the final destination will look like I have no idea. What I do believe is, whatever the final destination, which will depend on the journey, the journey itself isn’t going to be very pretty.
