And Then, Walls...

If, as Back-foot O'Barmy maintains, Russia did hack into computers in the US and thus were able to ‘influence’ their Presidential election, wouldn’t you think the very first thing Barry would do would be to,  at a minimum and very publically, fire all those responsible for maintaining the security of all governmental computer systems and  associated networks?  So, what does Barry do? He expels a bunch of Russians - many of whom are probably just able to do that E-mail thingy and nothing more.

We can but assume that Barry then sat back smugly and waited for Vlad the Lad to lash out and respond in kind so Bazz could then go off on another one against those pesky, nasty Russians.

Sadly for Back-foot O’Barmy, Vlad the Lad announced he isn’t interested in playground games and intends to hold-off with his reaction, if any, ‘till there’s a grow-up in the White House. Then, just to rub salt in the wound, he invites all the kids of US folk working in Russia to pop along to the Kremlin for a Christmas party.

Upon hearing that, I’m betting Barry bobbed  into a blacked-out backroom and went totally ballistic. I doubt there’s an unbroken toy left in the White House.

Oh, Barry, ‘if’ only...

However, if the big bad bear did, indeed, hack the computers of the US, that’s the United States by the way, I’d suggest that when Trumpton takes over he should put that proposed Mexican wall on the backburner and, first-up, just concentrate on a firewall.

All the very best for 2017 to one and all.

Did like the mental image of Barry (and possibly his supportive husband) throwing a titanic wobbly in a darkened room. If ever he managed to pack in the ciggies it's a pound to a pinch of the smelly stuff that he's been puffing away like a freshly swept chimbley these last few days ...

Surely his erroneously named Intelligence chaps would have warned him of Tovarisch Putin's knowledge of, and expertise in, the concept of Zanshin. This aspect of the Eastern martial arts is the least explored in the west and is potentially the most valuable (and it has a wee mention on Wikipedia if you are interested).

Besides all that Mac, may I thank you for all the laughs, music and so forth this year ... keep 'em rolling say I :-) All the very best to you and yours mon vieux - may 2017 bring nothing but good times.

Caratacus,
Thank you kind Sir and the same to you and all those you hold dear and the end of your comment made me feel as happy as a fluffy puppy rolling round in wet grass. If you can't laugh, what's the point of it all?
Regarding Zanshin - stay tuned...
