And Then, On The Road...

While reading and listening to the news relating to that rubber boat full of foreign fellows that got into trouble while crossing the Channel, I was reminded of a comment I copied a while ago from some place and saved. It’s a beauty as you’ll see. Usual apologies and thanks to the author.

Old Fox
"...that attempting to stem or "thwart" the current levels of immigration was impossible; that it was just a fact of life...". The left thinks that for some reason it is impossible to stop humans from crossing a defended border, but thinks it is perfectly rational that we can control the natural heating and cooling cycles of the earth (aka 'Global Warming'). Do they even listen to themselves?

As it’s a holiday day, let’s have a very old song that I’d like to dedicate to the EU Leave Campaign and remind your ‘leader’ that the idea was for you to win the Leave nomination and proceed to do battle with Remain and convince folk to vote ‘out’. Nothing to think about. That’s it. The idea was not for you to ‘win’ the Leave designation and then immediately leave the battlefield.

While you enjoy the music get over to The Slog for a good EU related read.

“You can bail water 24/7, and no matter how good you are at not sinking, you still have a hole in your boat.”
