And Then Three Dots...

Did you see that BBC politics program today? I was pleasantly surprised to see that Andy Nail chappie coast along with the Leave fellow and pretty well rip the Remain lad a new one. That’s the impression I got sitting way over here anyway. I’m guessing the BBC bosses will be requiring Mr Nail to attend a re-indoctrination course PDQ.

After yesterdays post, Ripper has left some stuff in the comments to try with Google searches  which I’m presently playing with. Please don’t, as indeed did I, panic when you try Zerg Rush. It’s a funny ol’ Google. Ripper concludes by saying he needs to get out more. I, on the other hand, having never thought to do this sort of thing, have come to the conclusion I need to stay in more.

Finally for today... hay, it’s Sunday, okay? Actually, that was just an excuse to use three dots again.

So, finally, Grandad Ramble, should you pass by today, please be advised that the other day I left a comment on your phone post just to share your pain and lessen yours with a couple of links to show you’re sure not alone when confronted with ‘modern’ phone technology.

Sadly, when I got to the box asking for name, e-mail address, next of kin and blood group, I used a name other than the name you recently released from your Spam bucket so it may have ended up in there. Is this making any sense to anyone?

Anyhoo, here are the links for a bit of light relief and if I’m in your Spam bucket under a funny name, just delete me and I’ll do my best to remember my numb-de-plumb, or whatever it’s called, for next time. It should probably be dumb-de-plumb-the-depths-of-stupidity in my case.

This was my first foray into the mysteries of buying a 'next generation' mobile phone. Followed by a move to a pay as you go SIM card. And finally into the modern world of a small phone. This is now looking like a bad move as phones seem to be heading back to brick size.

Trawling around finding those posts led me to two almost forgotten quotes I love.

Quote  Robert Benchley.

"A boy can learn a lot from a dog; obedience, loyalty, and the importance of turning round three times before lying down."

           Garrison Keillor.

"Cats are intended to teach us that not everything in nature has a function."

My deepest apologies. Indeed I just found you lurking in the cesspit known otherwise as my Spam collection.

The reason it got dumped is [apparently] that my site has an aversion to people posting more than one link. I have had severe words with it in the past, but to no avail.

I have been having more than a little trouble with a Troll recently so between him and my usual hundred or so suggestions as to where I can get a good Rolex or some questionable pharmaceuticals, I have taken to just dumping all spam without checking it. It's just as well you mentioned it.

You have been restored in all your glory.

Have to go now. I have some links to explore about "smart" phones.

Grandad,
Absolutely no need for apologies Sir and I fully understand your Troll battle.
If I send any links your way in the future, I'll remember to post just one link per comment. I'll remember? Who am I kidding?
I just hope that, after being rescued from a bucket of Spam, the links provide a smile or two.
Have a fine evening.
Now, what did I have to remember?
