And Then, Words Of Wisdom….

After watching the news and reading all the stuff available about the Ukraine, then searching around to dig through what all the news outlets are saying to find what they aren’t saying, I ran into a clip, obviously a selfie, and that’s still a horrible word and concept by the way, shot by boy Dave of boy Dave as he watched the latest TV news bulletin relating to his Krainean conundrum. Unfortunately he was recording sound as well.

Saturday evening and, for me, it says so much. And more even.

I also quite like this comment wot’s a quote over at Bishop Hill. I can’t attribute it as it’s from Anonymous and I’ve no idea which of the thousands of Anonymous this one actually is. Sorry. I do, however, need to remember this for when those hopefuls start knocking on the door looking for my vote;
”The question over at WUWT and I believe the one we should all be writing and asking our MP's is......
"What is the perfect temperature of Earth? I’m assuming that climate change-related taxes will be used to bring our planet back to the perfect temperature, and I need to know when that has been reached".”

Enjoy your days good people.

Quote;  Thomas Sowell.

“If people in the media cannot decide whether they are in the business of reporting news or manufacturing propaganda, it is all the more important that the public understand that difference, and choose their news sources accordingly.”

             Criss Jami.

“Just because something isn't a lie does not mean that it isn't deceptive. A liar knows that he is a liar, but one who speaks mere portions of truth in order to deceive is a craftsman of destruction.”

I like that last quote. I'm thinking of doing a post on the subject because lying by being economical with the truth is so typical of modern times.

"Craftsman of destruction" - very apt.
