‘Another what’ is what you’re probably wondering and wondering how far you have to read to find the link between the title and what I’m writing about; assuming it isn’t too cryptic.
To save you having to read any further, as I’m sure you have better things to do, this being the Saturday before Christmas, this is what it’s all about.
It’s my birthday, and as George Carlin said, “So far, this is the oldest I've been.” I even got a card! Okay, it’s from me but it’s nice to see something on the mantelpiece don’t ya think? And I picked a funny one so I had a little chuckle to myself upon opening it this morning.
I’m gettin’ ever older but just to reaffirm my belief that ‘old’ is just a word like any other word and doesn’t need to be taken too literally, check out my birthday song I’ve selected for my geriatric enjoyment. A pleasing, simple little melodic moment I’m sure you’ll agree.
About here, when I’m presenting a musical offering, is where I usually advise you to glue on of your headset and giving it a bit of a boost to the bass, me liking a bit of bass an’ all. For this choice may I suggest a little care is taken with ol’ Mr Bass as too much of a boost could result in quite a severe nose bleed…..
Let’s go then and hope for another birthday in, oh I don’t know, twelve months? That’d be good.

“Men do not quit playing because they grow old; they grow old because they quit playing.”

Happy birthday Mac, I hope you had a great one. That Scooter track reminds me of some tune from waaayyy back.. Roxy Music? Anyway here's to another year of your excellent ramblings.
Thank you very big. You know what? I think I'll print your comment and put it on the mantelpiece next to my card......
Its no good.. that track has been bugging me but I've finally got it! Sailor - Glass of Champagne from 1976, and I ain't heard it since then either. God, I was a teenager.. with hair.
