No rain today so her indoors decided this was gardening day.
Gardening, for me, entails ripping the seed packets open and randomly scattering the little beauties on that soil looking stuff and lightly covering them with a sprinkling of that soil looking stuff. I don't do tomatoes any more.
This quickly done, with strange tutting noises emanating from her indoors, we spent the rest of the day watching and waiting. Absolutely nothing. Really, what's the point? Never mind, we'll give 'em another couple of days I guess as the pictures on the packets are pretty.
One observation from standing watching, was, although it's the back end of May, it was as cold as it was during Octember or even Decebuary. It was cold.
Quote; D. Elton Trueblood.
"A man has made at least a start on discovering the meaning of human life when he plants shade trees under which he knows full well he will never sit."
