Popped into the garden late this afternoon, as you do, looked up, as you do, and saw the most amazing could formation. I thought to myself, ‘That’s an amazing cloud formation, that is, and well worth photographing.’
Dived back into the house, grabbed the camera, dived back into the garden and – damn! Flat battery.
Dived back into the house, found charger, did the charging thing for a minute and managed a couple of shots although the formation was, by then, breaking up. Wind you know. Breaking up the clouds.
Shouting, ‘Hay clouds! Your breaking up!’ did nothing.
It’s a techno thing again isn’t it? Back in the day that wouldn’t have happened would it? No batteries to worry about. Just grab the camera, dive outside, point and – damn! No film.
The pictures? Can’t get ‘em out of the camera right now ‘couse of the battery thing but I’ll see if they’re worth showing you tomorrow. Excited? You shouldn’t be.

“If you saw a man drowning and you could either save him or photograph the event... what kind of film would you use?”
