I’m obviously missing something but the ‘news’ cycles of the past few days have been screeching at me regards an acute shortage of Co2 which has resulted in warnings of the imminent shortages in frozen meat and poultry, farms facing financial problems and the possible cancellation of Christmas.
Would this be the same Co2 that the same MSM and the enviro-mentalists have been crying about there being too much of thus our planet will be warming by a big number in a small number of years? Shouldn’t they be cheering this Co2 shortage from the roof tops? Confused I be.
Coupled with this is the ‘news’ of roaring gas price rises. This has been put down to demand as it seems they windmill thingies aren’t performing quite as planned. Who’d a thought o’ that then? This, we’re told, could become critical as the elderly and infirm find bills getting bigger and bigger as the weather gets colder and colder.
Old cynic wot I be, could this all be part of a cunning plan? As winter approaches with the possibility of the many three times punctured – or is it thirty three times now? – passing away owing to puncture problems and the days get colder, those up there will blame the excessive deaths of the elderly on naughty hikes in gas prices.
Heaven forbid this small island should drill and frack for the huge amounts of gas below our feet and thus become self sufficient in reasonably priced gas eh?

“According to a new U.N. report, the global warming outlook is much worse than originally predicted. Which is pretty bad when they originally predicted it would destroy the planet.”

It could be part of a cunning plan but it could be world class stupidity too. At this rate there won't be enough electricity to run HS2 trains, but another lot will be in power by then.
A K Haart,
So true. I can see HS2 running with two carriages for passengers and six to be crammed full of triple A emergency batteries.
"...but another lot will be in power by then." And at election times, the choices we have just make us dizzy with excitement.
