And Then, Something Of Interest...

Firstly, yesterday found us in one of they sprawling garden centres; you know the type  where you have to search amongst all the displays of stuff you’ve never, needed and never will, to find the greenery.
Anyhoo, this one had a rather large eating area and a nice looking menu so we decided to grab lunch so joined a not too long a queue. A queue we assumed where waiting to be given a table number and directed to said table.
Our turn turned up and there we were in front of a lady who was in front of a computer. So far so expected.
Then the new normal kicked in.
“Good day, do you have an app?” The eating area lady guard enquired of us.
”Indeed we do; we could eat a horse.” I replied.
”Pardon?” Accompanied by a puzzled look.
”You asked if we had an appetite, right?”
”No, I asked if you have one of they health apps on your phones wot anyone can look at and see if you’re plague carriers or not.” Or words to that effect...
”No, we don’t.”
”No? Oh. Do you have any resent NHS, blessed be its name, positive testing paperwork?”
“You want to see our papers? No, we have no papers.”
”No? Oh. Errr.”
There was more, but part way through I looked  at my little nest of vipers, she looked at me and I said to the restaurant guard, “You know wot? We’ve completely lost our apps, sorry, appetites so we’ll just bid you a fond farewell and I’ll secrete the twenty odd dabs, that could’ve belonged to your establishment, back in my own skyrocket and bid you a bewildered bu-by.” It’s no wonder drive through burger joints always seem to have miles long queues.
Anyhoo, go have a read {for read, read read} of a piece at Conservative Woman. I’ve read {for read, read red} it and, if this is as it sounds, it adds to my wonderment relating to this whole co-co conundrum and why the MSM continue to shy-away from any form of investigative journalism whatsoever. There’s a clue to why that could be in the article. Money and control? Shirly not... The bit below is also the linky thingy to the piece:
“We need to increase public understanding of the need for medical counter-measures such as a pan-coronavirus vaccine. A key driver is the media, and the economics will follow the hype. We need to use that hype to our advantage, to get to the real issues. Investors will respond if they see profit at the end of the process.”

Quote;  Frank Herbert.

“The more control, the more that requires control. This is the road to chaos.”
