You may have missed it but buried away in the ‘news’ yesterday was the fact that some hundred year old chap had passed away. A grand old boy but why couldn’t they let him pass with the dignity of truth rather than make co-co capital of his death? Media outlets alternated with ‘died from...’ to ‘died with co-co’ with his prime sickness and the reason he was in dock, pneumonia, all but brushed from reports.
Oh, sorry, pneumonia was mentioned. How was that done? He hadn’t had the vaccine as he was being treated for pneumonia. And the subliminal message was? If he’d had the jab earlier he may well have survived so GET THAT JAB! Hell, if you’ve reached a ton, I’d guess a bad bout of hiccups could carry you off. Despicable reporting in my humble opinion.
So the message was, you all admired the old boy, now co-co has killed him! See? Anyone can catch it; be afraid, be very afraid; get that mix-an’-match chemi cocktail in you as soon as possible and all will be well. Well, not quite; after the jabba-dabba-do, just in case, stay indoors but if you do go shopping keep that muzzle on and most definitely don’t fraternise with family or friends, okay? Oh, and don’t ask questions.
Finally, I do hope someone is keeping a careful eye on the ‘charities’ that have benefitted from the good chaps endeavours as it’s only human nature to be ‘up there’, seeing a huge lump of cash roll-in at the very moment you realise you’d like more cream for your coffee... Only joking. That’s not going to happen is it. Is it?

Watched UK Column today. Soon after it started they discussed this:
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/nadhim-zahawi-coronavirus-vaccine-refuseniks-face-visit-from-the-persuaders-p3stfkfh0
Towards the end they reported on another headline which said that England would "vaccinate itself out of lockdown by early April". The panel hypothesised that when lockdown is not then lifted, the non vaxxers would get the blame.
Not going to give up are they?
Rick
Rick,
No they're not. Not foe a moment. I also note that jab passports won't be introduced... but, er, but, well, er...
I see they may allow pubs to open in April{?}. By that time I would suggest it'll probably be pub, singular, rater than the plural.
