...birthday. Yup, I made it despite all the trials and tribulations scattered along the path I walk. I just keep on defying the governmental dictates that insist I should be fearful and unhappy. Too late for here, but please go to the comments to the last post and take a look at the comment left by Ripper. Everything’s cool with the jab eh?
However, I must say those hurdles to happiness are getting higher and require a longer run-up to clear but I ain't going to stop doing all in my power to get over them. That’s a promise.
As per the above I see those that would rule over us have decided that more fear is required thus they’ve ‘discovered’ a Co-Co1984 Special Festive Edition. You WILL be frightened! Very frightened. And NO, you can’t escape!
You know wot? I’m betting Co-Co Super Max is already on the presses ready for finalising before printing. All that remains is for the chosen target demographic to terrify to be decided upon and added. Who could it be? Think ‘climate emergency’ and let’s imagine the shock headline. “A study has fount that the most susceptible folk to this super infectious strain of Co-Co are those that spend any time in or near diesel powered transport.”
Anyhoo, it’s solstice time so the days will be getting longer now. How cool is that then. Oh wait, bug alert! ‘Experts’ state it mutates easier and far quicker in daylight...

Mac,
I've given that deadly virus a good stern talking to, and its agreed to stay away from you for the duration of your birthday and Christmas! How good is that then? Party on dude!!
Hope you have a great birthday, and as I always say, many more to come. Happy birthday Mac.
Happy Birthday Mac.
The heavens have marked your birthday with a great conjunction.
Typically it pisseth down here and there isn't a star in the sky to be seen :-(
Have a good evening. Many happy returns.
Rick
Ripper,
Thanks for warning the bug off and I've rubbed garlic round the doors and windows just in case.
Many thanks for the good wishes and may I take this opportunity to thank you for your support and valued input to this humble site over the years. It's greatly appreciated. Let's keep on facing piles of trials with smiles.
Rick,
And thus the great conjunction went unnoticed. Much like my birthday in fact. Thanks for you kind words and, like Ripper, your input. A conjunction of like minds in a lowly Blog.
Happy birthday - nearly missed it. I've no idea what Co-Co Super Max will be but something will mysteriously appear. Bookies ought to take bets on it. Maybe they are already. Killer ladybirds 100/1 - something like that.
A K Haart,
Thanks for that; where do the years go?
Killer ladybirds? That'll get the kids fear factor well primed.
I think the next virus step could well be the discovery of a deadly variant found locked into the polar ice. With the ‘rapid’ warming of the planet by ‘us’, causing the increasingly fast melting of the poles, this melt will release the bug to sweep across the world. So choose your extinction; climate or bug.
