New Years Eve so I guess crowds will be out celebrating the fact another year’s over thus we’re all another year closer to the exit door of life. Is that weird or
wot?
Anyhoo, very best wishes to y’all and may all you wish for come to pass. Stay well, stay safe, face piles of trials with smiles and keep on thinking free.

“We spend January 1st walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year,
to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives; not looking for flaws, but for potential.”
Another joyous day when I learn my gas and lekky provider, owing to reasons, are increasing my direct debit by a bunch of dabs a month for the new year thus that super rise
in state pension and no change in tax thresholds confirms my earlier belief that income available for those little desirable extras is continuing its downward trend and I still have the excitement of a short wait to see how
much water is going up, this being one of the wettest countries on the planet and let’s not forget our council rates wot are set on yearly automatic up. Oh, joy. At the risk of repeating myself: ‘Oh
to live on an island with easily protected borders. An island rich in deposits of coal, natural gas and oil thus enabling the government to ensure the population they were elected to protect and serve, can live in safety and
have secure, readily available, reasonably priced energy.’ Let’s give that no never mind, the daze are starting to get longer; happy solstice y’all. Let the bells ring out.

“Poor; when you have too much month at the end of your money.”
I often mention that, due to the weekly pill poppin’ organizer top-up that also seems to act as a time accelerator, I’m always left wondering where the week went. Guess wot. It’s June and we’re half way through the bloody year. Where did the first half go then? Two things worthy of mention vis-a-vis this rapid passage of time: We visited two supermarkets yesterday and neither had, at time of visit, their Christmas aisles up and running. Secondly, should I still need to be clad in a heavy woolly pully in these rapidly, only hours left to save the planet, globally warming times? And why do we need to be sitting here with the fire glowing warmly today? As for that jubilee thingy, when does it end? Or do we have to wait for the MSM, wots been wringing it for all it’s worth for wot seems like weeks now, to declare the end? Finally, it being a typically wet, cold June Sunday, here’s your psalm for the day.

“Aside from Velcro, time is the most mysterious substance in the universe. You can’t see it or touch it, yet a plumber can charge you upwards of seventy-five dollars per hour for it, without necessarily fixing anything.”
