I see our prime puppet and his string stretchers are still planing to build millions of new houses in the next phew years. Not
sure how with a lack of required stuff like cement, bricks and blokes to glue the phew we have together. Let’s look at the demographic of the new arrivals of our newest bestest ever friends wot need housing.
Okay, had a look? Got it? So for simplicity and speed, how about bunging a bunch of mud huts together in desolate areas of our little island? Home from home eh? Water and basic sanitation you say? Walking miles every day for ‘fresh’
water? Please step forward all those wondrously generous charities...
Quote: C. S. Lewis.
“It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.”
Orson Welles.
“They teach anything in universities today. You can major in mud pies.”
