And Then, Sorry For The Absence…

...but the urge to sit and tap stuff on the tap-top seems to be rapidly diminishing. As for the old saying early to bed early to rise makes a a man happy, wealthy and wise, well, hard to be happy with the state of things is it not? Wealthy as it’s tax paying month? As for the wise bit, wot does that even mean?
Anyhoo, also recently had a couple of brushes with naughty stuff. First was a phone call pretending to be from a bank pertaining to the use of bank card at a supermarket. Y’all had one of those? Then an Email from DVLA stating I’m late paying my road tax. Even knowing it to be fake, I clicked the link to see how good a copy of the official Web sight it might be.
Then it got interesting as, after doing the clicky bit, I was greeted by Fire-Fox showing me a bright red screen and text telling me they will NOT allow access as the address is very naughty.
This got me thinking regards a world over crowded with scams and powered by computer. If a browser can spot and block a bad boy  you would think, as every phone number is known to land-line and mobile operators and Email providers likewise with addresses and with the modern might of computers showing they can find you in a heart beat if you send a supposedly naught tweet, that they’d be able to detect bad stuff and owners of bad numbers an’ such, block ‘em and alert the relevant authorities, right?

Quote; Joseph Addison.

“They were a people so primitive they did not know how to get money, except by working for it.”
