And Then, Wet…

Well, so, Stear Karmer’s had a bad phew days has he not. Whilst half listening to the ‘news’ on the televisual receiving device the other day it seems he’s had to sack some fellow wot’s our man in the US of A who’s name sounded to my old ears like Long Mantelpiece. Listening to a little more it would seem this fellow should be on the fire and not stretched out above it enjoying the warmth. It also sounded like, although sacked, he’s not going to give up his first name so, I assume, he’ll keep his seat in the House of Large Salaries.
Anyhoo, giving that no never mind, back to the title of this tap top tapping.
I’ve noticed over the past year or so that, after a shower, it’s getting increasingly hard to get dry. This, for me, is not related to the physical act of rubbing myself with a warm towel it just doesn’t matter how long and hard I rub down I still feel damp to my touch - especially my legs. What part of getting old is that then? Is it time to consider
one of these you think? Whoa! There’s a whole hell of a lot of towels in that price are there not and I imagine a goodly chunk of lekky needed to run it. I guess I could always try using my little nest of vipers hair dryer. Oh, lekky usage there as well. Okay, I guess it’s damp legs after a shower then.

You've probably tried them, but I find microfibre towels are good.

A K Haart,
Thanks for the tip. Sadly, just checked, already in use. They work fine other on my legs for some - age related{?} reason.
