Yup, my birthday tomorrow so we’re spending today planning the big party. It’ll be attended by - oh, my little nest of vipers
and myself.
Wot to do? We thought of going out for a nice lunch but then compared the cost and decided to stay home and have the heating on for thirty minutes. Thank you Steer Calmer.
Energy? Y’all seen this piece regards Ed Minibrains ‘plans’? Better still, has Ed Minibrain asked a grownup to read it to him?
Well, so, I see things are going up in price including that stuff wot falls out of the sky. Yup, water. Who’d a thought those rises in employers tax and a hop up in the minimum wage would be passed
on to us down here, eh?
Anyhoo, as the years roll by at an ever faster speed something wormed itself into my old head. The lyrics, oft quoted here, become more relevant with the passing years and this number should
be played by parents to their kids wot spend every waking moment head down in their smart{?} phones.
Modern pop music’s sunk to big depths since numbers like this were about has it not?
So true; ‘Face piles of trials with smiles and keep on thinking free.’
Quote; Rolando McClain.
“I don't know if I'm ready to know what triggers my anger. I just feel like I figured out on my own how to stay calm, how to enjoy life, how to be happy.”

Old folk seem to be slower than usual as they trundle around the supermarket, but maybe it's not a surprise if they all switched the heating off before they came out.
A K Haart,
Did they even switch it on? But you're right and I do believe they're trundling round slowly to soak up the free heat.
Dear Foggy, have a moderately cheerful Christmas and then a New Year which is better than the last few. Modest wishes. And the same to all those whose comments cheer me up. Thank you all.
