I’m sure I’m not alone in spotting that the TV is in overload with food and perfume adverts as befits the season.
Well, the other night this advert was caught by my little nest of vipers and was greeted with the two word comment, “Want one” resulting in a trip to the shops to – yup, get one.
So? Christmas is coming so why not? However, this came with an unbelievable kicker.
Upon arriving home, she opened the box and threw a bit of paper from the box in my direction. I looked and was both lost and amazed. Why? The paper contained instructions to connect the perfume bottle to a smartphone. For wot, I have no idea as I didn’t do it as it’s bad enough having Billy looking in the window without having a bottle of perfume doing who knows wot but, really, can you relate to that? Connecting a perfume bottle to a smartphone? Hello?
One wonders and shudders at wot could come next. Buying something, getting it home and, unknown to you, it looks around and finds something to, without ‘asking’, to connect to? Soon...
