And Then, No Wind...

Many thanks to Timbotoo who left a little rhyme thingy in the comments last night. It be a few lines from a very old and naughty piece once known to every schoolboy in the land. I’m guessing not so much these days.

Anyhoo, in light – soon to be going out – of our tussle-haired leaders latest announcement regards wind generated electrickery, I’ve taken the liberty of changing the name of the first mate from Carter to BoJo as it’ll be he who has to get them windmills a’spinnin’; Thanks again Timbotoo.
When the wind didn’t blow
And the ship had to go
It took BoJo the f@rter
To start ‘er

WARNING: Wot’s below is very naughty so if you are in any way, shape or form of the Timidadian persuasion, or you know someone of that persuasion is in close proximity to you – and by close proximity I’m talkin’ a couple or six miles - DO NOT, under any circumstances, click anything within the box below. Just move on in the bliss of ignorance as to its content.

Before I go, let’s not forget those trapped in Scotland with the weekend looming. We shouldn’t laugh; something nasty this way comes – again, and there soon won’t be a traditional pub left in the entire land. At least the anti alcohol brigade will be happily whetting their panties I guess. JD with nary so much as a whimper of dissent.

Quote for our ‘leaders’;  Steven Wright.

“Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until they speak.”
