I believe another vote regarding this EU thingy has been ruled out by that lady who’s ‘running’ the country. Going on that persons past record I guess another referendum could be announced any day soon.
That apart, over the past forever, lots of jolly important and ‘cleaver’ fellows have been demanding another vote; this time to be called a peoples vote. The first problem with that, regarding wot a ‘people’ actually is, has already been typed about. Secondly, I’m not too sure how that’d work out anyway as the ‘cleaver’ folk calling for this vote are pretty much all the same folk who called the seventeen some million folk who voted Leave in the last ‘go’, elderly, white, uneducated nutters. So how would this second vote work? I can only assume the seventeen some million elderly, white, uneducated nutters will be excluded, right? Those lost votes could be more than made up for by giving six year olds the vote of course. As a by-the-by, an academic, the head of politics at Cambridge University no less, is the brains behind that idea. Wonder no more why we’re in the mess we’re in.
Or is it just a case of those important ‘cleaver’ fellows, yet again, failing to engage their brains before opening their mouths? Looks to me like these ‘cleaver’ folk have got the ‘nutter’ label the wrong way round.
