Further to a post about pictures a while ago, and also this trickery, here we go again. The first photograph is pretty typical of all those scenes, still or moving, our intrepid photo journalists are capturing and the news media are only too happy to splash on front pages and headline on TV news channels. Crying toddler, with obligatory runny nose, facing off baton wielding police hiding behind riot shields. Pulls at the ol' heart strings does it not?
The second picture, although not related to the first, gives a better indication of the reality of this type of staged{?} 'photo journalism'. What the actual monetary flow between the journalists and the poor kids mom and pop, for the loan of their child, has yet to be disclosed.
Is that sad or wot? I'll say it again, okay I'll let the man say it again down below.
The good news is China's going to build and run, or help run, new nuclear power plants over here. I can't see anything that could possibly go wrong with that plan can you?
