And Then It Starts….

Christmas that is, as it’s the first of December. Yeah, I know – it really started about half way through August but for us traditionalists December works better don’t you think? In fact, for some, it’s almost time to start thinking about Easter and the eggs….

Anyhoo, here’s a site that may provide you with a little light relief as your expenditure escalates to levels not seen since last Christmas. I may have linked to this place before but if not, here it is.  However, if I have indeed linked to it before, here it is again.

And as we prepare for this festive season, let’s reflect for a moment on the ridiculously fast paced world we now live in and ponder the pace at which so many of our old traditions are disappearing and ask ourselves; are the days of the Advent Calendar numbered?

Sorry…..

Quote;  Dave Barry.

“Once again we find ourselves enmeshed in the holiday season, that very special time of year when we join with our loved ones in sharing centuries-old traditions such as trying to find a parking space at the mall.”
