And Then A Re-calc….

Hi. It’s me. Foggy, and no, I wasn’t mentioned in the birthday honours. Again.

So, how’s life out there? I ask as I’m in here and don’t see a whole heck of a lot of out there. Other than what sneaks in through holes I make – intentionally or otherwise.

The ‘otherwise’ bit above is a whole different story and one, although fascinatingly farcical, I’m way too tired to type right now.

Anyhoo, you remember I popped in about, what, a week ago? I popped in and excitingly and loudly typed that the end was in sight and I estimated all would be satisfactorily snuffed up in a week. Remember? Well, here we are but where be I?

I kicked back and cooled my jets yesterday early AM and took a look around, took stock of progress and did a more cautious estimation of expected  completion time. Looks like another week will see everything completed. This will depend upon time-out taken weighing up various jobs. ‘Weighing up the job’, as you know, is a perfectly legitimate excuse for just looking but doing absolutely nothing.

However, I feel it’s only common sense to add the usual cover-all rider ‘Unless……’.

In other news, I’d just like to ask that fellow-in-the-Bush chap, Tony Baloney, how he feels that Iraq thing’s working out for him now. Who’d a thunk it’d end up like this eh Tony?

Don’t watch or listen to the news and do your best to enjoy what’s left of the weekend although the forecast calls for pain. {Some mean pickin’ in there people!}

Quote;  Scott Adams.

“Ask a deeply religious Christian if he’d rather live next to a bearded Muslim who may or may not be plotting a terror attack, or an atheist who may or may not show him how to set up a wireless network in his house. On the scale of prejudice, atheists don’t seem so bad lately.”

Thanks for that, Mac ... I was reminded of Ernie Isley from all those years ago :-)

Thanks. We must never forget "...all those years ago" and we should occasionally trawl our memories for those golden moments and re-live those times our minds have stored for us.
